"Baylee get your butt down here! Your gonna be late to school!" Yelled my mom

"I'm coming I'm coming" I yelled back

Today was my first day of high school... And I'm like freaking out

When we arrived at my new school, I almost threw up.

"Bye mom" I said

I wasn't paying attention when I got out and ended up bumping into the schools player, Ryder Haynes...

"Baylee?" Asked my language arts teacher

"Ummm yea?" I asked

"Would you mind tutoring Ryder Haynes? I know it's the first day, but his grandmother asked for a tutor" she asked

"Ya I'll do it" I said regretting my answer

"Thank you miss. Evens" she said

"Of course... When do we start?" I asked

"Saturday?" She asked

"Sure" I answered

As I was leaving, I ran into Ryder... Again...

"So I hear your tutoring me" said Ryder

"Cool... Here is my number just in case you have any questions" said Ryder handing me a piece of paper

"Ummm thanks" I said walking away, but Ryder grabbed my arm and said

"Baylee, I just don't want you to see me as the player, I'm more than you think"

"Ryder, I won't, I'm sure there is more to mr. Player" I said winking

"You won't call me mr. Player for much longer" said Ryder

Ryder Haynes: come over at 3

When 3:00 came, I put on a pair of blue jeggings, a one direction sweatshirt, and my black uggs... I didn't want to look like I cared...

When I got to Ryder's house, correction, mansion, he was sitting outside

"Hey Baylee" he said

"Hey Ryder" I said

"Before we start, I think that you should know something" said Ryder

"And that is?" I asked

Ryder said "You Baylee evens are about to find out the players past"

"Here it goes... Ok so everyone sees me as mr.bad boy, well thats not who i am... you see my mom was like super sick, so i got in fights just to get money to pay for her meds, but the meds didn't work, when i was about 15, she died of lung cancer... i would go to girls for help and i would just hook up with then to get rid of stress... I'm really not as bad as you think i am Baylee" said Ryder

"Ryder i am so sorry" i said pulling him in for a hug

"its not you fault Baylee, i just thought you should know" said Ryder

"Ryder i never thought of you like that" i said

"good" said Ryder tightening his grip

"do you still wanna study?" i asked

"no" said Ryder tightening his grip even tighter

"no Baylee I'm not... all i will ever be is broken" he said

"well if you ever need anything, just call me" i said

"thanks Baylee... i appreciate you doing this" he said

we stayed like this for a while and i had no problem

"Baylee?" asked Ryder breaking the silence

"ya?" i asked back

"would you ummmm maybe ummm be my umm girlfriend?" asked ryder

"yes!" i half screamed

"really??!?!?!?!" shouted Ryder

"yes!" i screeched again

"ok good" said Ryder

my phone started to vibrate... i knew it was from my mom

mom: Baylee its time for dinner

me: I'm coming

mom: drive safe

"hey Ryder i have to go i will text you later" i said

"ok bye babe" babe?!?! did he just call me babe??? well i really didn't care

when i got home, my mom greeted me with a

"whatever you do, don't tell dad" i whispered

"omggggg my baby girl has a boyfriend!!!" screeched my mom

after dinner i texted ryder

Ryder Haynes: wanna go to the water park tomorrow???
