Reed and Tracys POVs

Reed Smith walked down the road to home. Reed was angry because of many things, he had to walk Home from school, he had to do his chores, but mostly because his favorite tree witch he named Martin was getting chopped down. Reed had no friends at all and it's hard at 12 years old.
Reeds POV
I walked inside and I immediately noticed the note on the fridge,

Nothing was better than cleaning the bathroom one my brother Mike and my sister Patricia or Pat don't get home until 3:40 because the high school is farther away than the middle school. Two my mom is with Molly (my little sister) at like the gym or something. I had the whole house to myself and cleaning the bathroom is the fastest.
I got to work on the bathroom and then right when I started video game Pat and Mike got home. Me and Pat played smash bros and Mike did home work. Little while later the door opened and mom walked in with Molly. "Time to turn it off" she told us. "Tree guys are here at 6:00 so go do home work" and as if reading my mind she added "and no you can't do it later."she said.
I walked out side and stared at Martin. He was getting chopped down? Really, why? I knew why it's just that I don't get why, it's not too tall it can't really fall on the house. Maybe mom and dad have another reason? I really don't know but I'm only worried about the tree so who cares why? The tree guys got here and started limbing it. But then it moved almost the entire tree. It started slowly spinning. Everyone backed of. The pine branches turned and squeaked and it took form of a dragon. The Large branches as wings, but empty sockets blazed with fire where the eyes should have been. It was at least 20 feet tall maybe 35 40 long and 10 feet wide (just estimating).
It burst end into the sky its wings exploding with wind. It took off and left no trace. No one else seemed to notice. "Well how convenient is that? All them branches fallen off huh" a tree worker guy said. At that moment I knew I had to find it someday. But the years went on until.
Time jump... 2016
Tracy was 21 and just finishing college. She went to the University of Olympic College in Washington. She was Reeds neighbor but they've never met.
Tracy's POV
I couldn't find out why one day dorm rooms front yard area was clean and the next the was a full grown tree in the yard. It's weird how it just appeared there one day. I really didn't care but whatever maybe I never noticed it or something. Anyway I need to get to bio chemistry class in about 30 seconds so time to sprint. I ran down the campus I could see class down the hall 20 19... I burst through the door and ran down the hall 10 9... I opened the door 5 4... I grabbed my book and then 3 2 1...
