Remember the memories they made?
Before they were sold?
I have forgotten them all.
Maybe a camera could help us solve,
This labyrinth of cruelest souls.

Rosa Parks,
Freely, the bus she couldn't ride.
Blood and sweat from many were dropped.

See those naked trees?
They dance to the rudeness of the wind
Their holy glory,
Will never come to a fin.

"I have a dream" - Martin Luther King.

The sky is dressed in pale pink,
With a touch of yellow-green.
Use the black ink,
It's a color that does not kill .

"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion" — Nelson Mandela.

Yet, these brothers and sisters were killed.
But I was not taught it was wrong,
I heard my teachers sing about slavery in the American tone!

So, what is white?
The world is nor black or white,
Never was.

Yet, they were sold as objects,
Denied of their human rights,
Worked to their African flesh and bones,
Rape up to their minds,
Persecuted and killed for who they were.

"I am going to tell it like it is, I hope you can take it like it is" - Malcom X.

They were exploited in every way,
Government did not care until...
...they chose to care.

"In every human Beast, God has implanted a Principle, which we call Love of Freedom; it is impatient of Oppression and pants for Deliverance" - Phillis Wheatley.

We love to customize these truths.
Such a coward human you are
If you have not even tried,
To wear the robes of these individuals we call black.

Stripped off many things,
But never of their perseverance, their hunger for justice and equality.
Never of their dreams, their love for their brothers and sisters.
Never of their sick will to live and survive.

Ancestors caged up and treated with indifference,
Laid path for the new generations to rise as winners!

It was not for "your" black folks,
It was for the African souls.
It was for the reconstruction of their honor and dignity,
It was for their motherland.

For them,
And for the rest to see that determination did paid then off.

These was for the black*scratch that* African folks.
