Young Love (Jake Paul)

Chapter Four

"Why on earth are the two of you driving here?" Lauren asked as she FaceTimed with Megan while Jake drove her Blazer down the road.

"We need some alone time." Megan replied as she let out a yawn. "Since we moved in the house with the others, there hasn't been a lot of time to ourselves. That and we have a slight argument a couple days ago, because we're never alone. We're gonna stop a hotel at some point. That's why we left early."

"You two drive carefully and let me know when you're at least an hour away."

"I will mom."

Megan pressed the end button and put her phone down. She let out a deep sigh and looked over at Jake. He looked ahead but still had a pissed off look on his face.

"Every couple has their fights, Jake." Megan said as she put her hand over Jake's free hand.

"I didn't think the first one would be so intense that's why I'm mad." Jake replied as he adjusted his hand, so it was wrapped around Megan's hand.

"It happens. All normal couples have fights. This break at the farm will do us some good. My mom said after the reunion we could stay in the cabin." Megan looked back at Tucker who was sleeping peacefully on the backseat. "She understands that we need a break."

"We just need time to ourselves." Jake said.

Jake and Megan made it about nine hours until they had to stop at a hotel due to their lack of sleep. They found a hotel that allowed Tucker in who slept in his crate while Megan took a shower.

Megan let the water run down her body as she closed her eyes. Then she heard the shower door open and turned around to see Jake get in the shower with her. She stepped closer to Jake and he wrapped an arm around her.

"You know I love you, right?" Jake asked. Instead of responding by saying anything, Megan wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed Jake.

"I'll always love you." Megan rubbed the back of Jake's neck as she looked at him. "You are the only one I love and always will be. I think I proved that to you on my birthday. I wouldn't have given it up so easily." Jake smiled making Megan smile. "My heart will always belong to you, Jake Paul."

After staying in the hotel for about four hours, Jake, Megan, and Tucker began the rest of the drive back to Texas.

When they arrived, it was almost 4:00 in the morning. The horses were obviously tucked away in the barn and the dogs were probably in the house sleeping as well. The bags were left in the car, but they grabbed Tucker and his supplies.

As they walked in the house, they were greeted by Mikey, a large Great Pyrenees that was one of the family's six dogs. Tucker wagged his tail and sniffed at Mikey who wagged his giant tail slowly. Megan assumed that the other dogs were split up between the rooms and Mikey is usually sleeping in the front room.

"Can you make it to the bedroom?" Megan asked when Jake plopped down on the couch. Jake mumbled something as he closed his eyes. Mikey laid down on the floor next to the couch while Tucker cuddled up with him. Megan smiled and kissed his cheek. But eventually, the two of them as well as Mikey and Tucker made their way into Megan's room where the four passed out on the bed.

Megan woke up the next morning to find just Mikey and Tucker in bed with her. She looked up to see the bathroom door half open. Megan smirked when she saw Jake pass the door butt naked.

"I hope you locked my door, Jake." Megan said softly as she laid her head back down and Jake chuckled from in the bathroom.

"I locked the door when we got up here." Jake replied as he walked out and then sat down with the blanket just barely covering his waist. Megan sat up and rested her chin on Jake's shoulder making him look at her. Jake then kissed her forehead.
