•Wanderer from the Badlands, family was killed in a White Fang bombing, fought Adam in the Badlands when Blake wasn't with him, got a scar across his back, was recruited by Ozpin in exchange for being able to keep fighting the White Fang, strikes up a bond with Blake, a strong bond, sometimes even sneaking in and bunking with her in RWBY's dorm. Likes to carve small, wooden figurines for Blake, which she fondly keeps close. Throughout the year he gets permission from Ozpin to go on several solo raids on White Fang bases, sometimes accompanied by Huntsmen and Huntresses, he sees his fair share of death during these missions. One of these missions keeps him away during the Breach, after his mission he rushes back, having faith in Blake and RWBY, but still not wanting to loose anyone again. Helps during attack, decimating Grimm and Atlas drones alike. After Blake confronts Adam and gets stabbed by him, Marcus rushes to her aide and drives back Adam, allowing Yang to get Blake to the evacuation site. Outmatched, he fights Adam to a stalemate, losing one of his fangs to a powerful blow from Adam. He spits his venom in Adam's face, blinding him, and gets inside his guard, getting a serious gash in his side, but manages to slip a sword between Adam's ribs, ending the fight. Marcus takes Wilt and Blush as confirmation that Taurus is dead. He limps out of the cafeteria and sees Pyrrha launch Jaune into Vale. He takes a longing glance at the evacuation site, to Blake, he gives a dejected sigh,"I'm sorry Blake... Don't think I'm gonna make it back from this one...", before he turns and trudges towards the tower. Ruby and Weiss are making their way to the tower as Marcus goes inside, the wound on his side half healed. He grabs the elevator cable and cuts it loose, the counterweight launching him up towards the top of the tower. As he approaches the top, the cable falters and just barely having enough momentum to launch him into Pyrrha and Cinder's fight. He throws one of his dual swords to an unarmed Pyrrha and they both start attacking Cinder in tandem. Cinder get fed up with there meddling and blasts them back with fire, knocking them off balance and to the edge of the tower. Cinder quickly draws her bow and takes aim just as Ruby makes it to the  top, letting two of her arrows fly, hitting Marcus stomach and Pyrrha just above her heart. We both stagger back in pain and shock, loosing our grip on our weapons before stumbling off the side of the tower, Ruby looks on, horrified. Tumbling down, thoughts cross his mind, Blake being at the forefront, he thinks to himself,"I'm not going to die here... And I'm not going to let her die either..." I reach out to Pyrrha and she grabs onto my arm, I unsheathe my newly taken trophy, the ground rising fast to meet us, and stab it into the side of the building. The force of the stop causes my arm to dislocate with sickening pop and a pained yell from me,"Fuck me!" "Pyrrha! I could use some help here!" "Right!" She makes a platform from a panel on the tower and starts lowering us to the ground. We snap off the shafts of the arrows imbedded in our bodies on the way down. When we get to the bottom we meet Weiss, I give Pyrrha Blush and I use Wilt as they manage to drag me back to the evacuation site. There we see Yang holding back a frantic, bandaged Blake,"Get out of my way Yang! We can't just leave him back there!" "Good thing I'm not back there then..." Blake sees me and Yang let's her by to run to me, but before she can reach me, my legs and vision give and I black out.
