"Alright babe, be good for Georgia, okay?" MaryGrace asks of her daughter. Giving her daughter a hug before she goes to work.

"No I want to be with you." Hazel begs, tugging on her mothers sweater. Refusing to let her go.

"I know, but I have to go to work." MaryGrace says. Petting her daughters hair.

"But mommy." Hazel wines.

"I'll see you later." MaryGrace says, giving her daughter a kiss on the cheek and standing back up.

Not telling Hazel a specific time, because she was scheduled for dinner. Meaning, she could get out anywhere between 9 and midnight.

One of the main reasons MaryGrace hates working dinner is because she always has school the next day and Hazel gets antsy after 8. But it was good money.

MaryGrace then walked back to her car and saw her daughter still pouting on the porch steps. It broke her heart but she only worked so much to provide for Hazel.

With that in mind MaryGrace backed out and drove 20 minutes to downtown LA. She parked her car in the underground garage of the restaurant she worked at, Cosmo. It was an establishment of extreme fine dining.

MaryGrace took the employee elevator up to the locker rooms to put away her purse and get changed into her uniform.

She went back down to the restaurant and finished buttoning the buttons on her white long sleeve and tied her apron around her waist that held her receipt book, several pens, a small compact and a tube of liquid lipstick for touch ups.

"MaryGrace. You are never going to believe who reserved the privet party room at 8." The hostess Courtney says,  running into the back to tell MaryGrace. "JUSTIN BIEBER." She says almost screaming. She was jumping up and down. "And I think Matt has you down as his waitress." MaryGrace doesn't give her the reaction she was hoping for but instead fixes her hair in the employee mirror. "Do you not care?" She asks the waitress.

"Eh, I mean he's cute and all but I'm sure he's just like every other celebrity."

Cosmo being a fine dining place it wasn't unusual for famous people to come and dine. MaryGrace herself had actually waited a lot of famous people's tables.

"Beautiful?"

"Full of himself." MaryGrace says.

"When you're that hot you are allowed to be full of yourself." Courtney jokes, MaryGrace laughs, "I'm half serious, he could dump pitcher of water on me and I'd probably apologize to him." Courtney adds, "so you're really not going to shoot your shot?"

Marygrace laughs "yeah I'm sure Justin Bieber's ideal girl is a waitress with stretch marks and a sewn up vag." The girls burst out laughing, "What other reservations do we have tonight?"

Courtney went on explaining how it was going to get busy. Since there was an award show tomorrow and all the celebrities were getting into town tonight. Courtney then left to go back on the floor. MaryGrace following shortly after. She took some tables and got some good tips. After a couple hours, MaryGrace went to the back to touch up her makeup when Courtney peeped her head back.

"MaryGrace. Mr. Bieber and his party are here" She says

"I'll be right there with their water." MaryGrace says grabbing the large glass water bottles.

"MaryGrace!" Matt her manager calls. "Mr. Bieber may be the biggest star we've had in here. You will be handling him and his party in the privet room. Remember You are representing this restaurant. Pleasing him. Brings more people." He reminds the girl, passive aggressively.

"Ok Matt. I got this" MaryGrace promises. She walks out of the back and onto the floor. And walked to the privet room in the restaurant. He sat at the end of the long table. The waitress walks up to them. "Evening gentlemen. I am MaryGrace and I will be taking care of you this evening." Introducing herself. She begins to pour them all a glass of water while listing the evenings specials. She leaves the bottle in the middle of the table. "And would you like anything else to drink besides water?"

"I'll take a scotch n soda" one man says. The two men ordered their alcoholic beverages. MaryGrace turned to attention to Justin who had been checking his phone. When it came to his turn, he lowered the phone and looked up to the waitress.

"And I'll-" he choked on his words and starts coughing once his eyes met hers.

"You ok here buddy?" His friend asks rubbing his back.

"Uh yeah. I just need some" he says and coughs some more. He then took large sips of water. "I'll take a gin n tonic as well." he says.

MaryGrace nods and left to the bar to go get the beverages. When She returns She places napkins then each glass on top of them.

"And have you gotten a chance to look at the menu?" MaryGrace asks and continues with the regular waitress stuff  while Justin stares at the girl in awe.

"Justin. You ok? You've been acting weird" his friend asks.

"Uh yeah." Justin says, waking himself from his daydream.

She finished with their orders and brought them new glasses of their beverages. Their food was brought out and they ate a full three course meal. Once their table was cleared of dishes, MaryGrace printed out their ticket and brought it to their table.

"Whenever you are ready. No rush." She says sliding the black receipt book on the table. She swung by to grab the tab and processed their card and returned it back. "Thank you gentlemen, have a great night." MaryGrace concludes, sliding the black tab back to them. She left. Sighing in relief.

The three men with Justin stood up, and put their jackets on and we're ready to leave. "I'll catch up with you guys, I need to go to the bathroom" Justin says. The guys nodded and continued without him. Justin then looks around for the waitress. She had been standing at the bar waiting on some drink orders. He ran his fingers through his hair and fixes his tie and walks over.

"Hi." He says. Almost nervous. His hands deep in his pockets. Trying to look cool.

"Oh hi. I'm sorry do you need anything?" MaryGrace asks. Almost panicking.

"Uh yeah your number would be nice" he says . Was he flirting with me? MaryGrace thought

"Ha. I normally don't date celebrities. But thanks." MaryGrace confesses, placing several drinks on her tray. She lifts it and began to walk away.

"I'm sorry. Did you just turn me down?" He asks, stopping her. Shocked.

"I just don't have time. I work 50 hours a week." She explains.. Still carrying her tray. Justin sped up and cut her off by standing in front of her.

"Cut down to 48 and go on a date with me. If you hate it and you hate me I will give you $500 cash. To make up for the work you missed" he says. She thought for a minute and couldn't help but chuckle.

"This sounds a lot like prostitution," MaryGrace says, he laughs, "Look, I'm sure your a nice guy and all, but, I can't."

"What do you have a boyfriend or something?" He asks with his eyebrows slightly scrunched.

"Something a little more complicated than that." MaryGrace says, biting her lower lip.

"Married?" Justin asks. His brows scrunching together more. Creating deep creases on his forehead. Causing MaryGrace to laugh slightly.

"No, no, not married" MaryGrace says with a smile, showing off her left hand.

"Then what is it?" He asks. Truly curious.

"I have a daughter" she blurts.

"A daughter?" Justin asks

"Yeah. Hazel. She's four years old." MaryGrace explains, pulling out her order notepad and shows him a photo of her and her daughter. "Between work and Hazel, it's just not possible."

She places her notepad back into her apron and walks around the paralyzed man. She greets a new table of guests and looks back to see that, Justin is gone.
