It was my favorite shirt that brought us together. That plain Worn out Beatle shirt started it all. I was in Senior High in Jefferson High and seems to overcome all the challenges in this stupid world called High School. I’m the captain of the Cheerleaders. Yeah, If you’re thinking that I’m one of the bitches that supposed to roam around the campus picking on cute boys. Yeah I was one. I’m the Queen Bee, every man could wish for. I have my own clique called the Romantic Thursdays. Second to me is Ashley then Gale and Beverly. Everybody knows I got my plans, and I know behind their mind they are all thinking I will end up just like my mother. This Year, Times so fast. And I couldn’t be any luckier because I’m going out with the Hottest Guy in Atlanta, Clarence Jenner. He was every girl dreams of, He got It all, He was the son of William Gunner, The Chief Prosecutor in our Town and His mother is one of the elite ladies of the society and Here I am waking up every day how to fill in their Perfect Life. This is what I have or what I call the last memory of my dad before he left us for another family. And I can’t forget how much my mom cried those days, the cries I will always keep in my heart that Love is never going to be real, It only happens in fairytales. Fairytales, books and Movies, Screw them all, And Prince Charming is never coming or maybe you’ve already met him but he left you hanging. So what’s the point of all this?
“Uhghhhh” I said to Ashley, I think Mrs. Lopez is making me do all the work for the yearbook , Hello, I can’t do this alone where’s the journal society everyone? “Hey, I think She believes in you and she can’t find anyone better than you. “But..” I said. Okay Madison, gotta go to class, See you at Lunch said Ashley” I was left in my locker trying to figure out how to do the work for the yearbook and finish it all today before I go to the engagement party of Clarence older sister, Denise. “Ughhhhh I thought again. And then I started the work in the library and found Clarence studying for his Midterms exams. I said “Hey baby. Then he replied “Hi, I was just thinking about you. Owe in my mind I said how can you think about me when you’re studying weirdo. But my tongue just said. “Oh really. Me too. I was just wondering if you could help me in this yearbook thing Mrs. Lopez handed to me. He was kind of shocked, but agreed. We’ve finished interviewing our respondents and the themes for the dances and it’s now time to get ready for the party. He drops me by my house and said “I’ll be seeing you in an hour, Babe. See you later. I miss you already” he kisses me in my forehead and drives away.
I was already tired when I’ve entered and my mom is sitting in the kitchen watching Iron Chef she said “Hey, Sweetie. A package came, check it out I’ve put it in your room” I answered “where is it from, Mom? “ She just giggled and I went to my room to find a large blue box lying in my bed. There’s a note that says “For the fairest, I love you” I open it and found a pale peach dress and matching pumps to go with it and a pearl necklace that has and M pendant then beeps my phone is ringing, Clarence is calling when he said “To the fairest, I think you’ve received the package? I answered. “Yes. Why did you send me this?” It’s for tonight baby; I want you to look beautiful. He answered. “You’re so sweet but isn’t this too much?” Nothing is too much for you baby, Put it on and be there in about 45 minutes, I can’t wait to see you. I love you” I said Thanks and the phone died. This night should be real wonderful, I got the perfect guy, his perfect family and me, and the Pain hearted Girl.
