All I Want For Christmas

Tenten sat on the ground, trying to catch her breath. The brunette was currently 20, She had just finished training and was about to head home, before she remembered something important. Tomorrow was Christmas and she completely forgot to buy presents for everyone, most shops would be closed now as it was Christmas Eve. She groaned and slapped her hand on her forehead, how could she be so stupid? Maybe if she hid somewhere she could get away with not giving anyone gifts, yeah that could work.

'Like hell it will.' She thought, sighing she got up. There had to be at least one store open for late shoppers.

There was one store open, and it was a clothing store. She knew not everyone would enjoy new clothes, but at least she would be giving them something. She had gotten everyone a gift except for her teammate, and crush, Neji. She knew he didn't like black too much, that was Sasuke's favourite colour, aside from purple. Maybe blue? Definitely not green. She sighed for the hundredth time, maybe she could just give him some new weapons with a bow around them. The brunette quickly payed an left the store to wrap her gifts, and look for an unused weapon she had lying around.

She found a katana in her attic, perfect. Quickly sheathing it and tying a red bow around the handle, she smiled at her handy work, she then got changed and went to bed.

Bright sun rays hit Tenten's face, causing her to groan and pull the blanket over her head. A few seconds later she shot up and dashed for the washroom, hurrying to get ready. She had to deliver her gifts, and collect her own of course. After eating a muffin and drinking a glass of water, she was out the door with her presents tucked in a scroll.

She had delivered her gifts to everyone except the two Hyuga's, so that's where she was headed. She knocked on the door and was greeted with Hinabi, still dressed in her pyjamas.

"Tenten-nii! Did you bring my present?" The girl asked excitedly.

"Calm down Hinabi." Tenten looked behind the excited girl to see Neji, which made the brunette blush slightly. He looked cute in his pyjamas.

"Ohayo Neji~" she greeted with a wave. She received a nod in response.

Deciding to get to business, she took out the remaining gifts and stepped inside the large house, she hadn't seen Hinata yet. Right then, the Hyuga heiress walked around the corner and hugged her friend. Tenten exchanged gifts with them and sat down to open her own along with her Hyuga friends. She was happy to see that Hinata and Hinabi were happy with their clothes, but she couldn't tell how Neji felt about the katana. She decided to ask him later, before she left.

Tenten walked toward to the door with Neji, she hadn't asked him what he felt about her gift yet. They had reached the door so Tenten turned to face her teammate, not realizing where they were standing. She opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by Hinata, who had a playful smirk on her face, she was spending way too much time with Naruto.

"Look up you two..." Hinata said, giggling as she walked away.

Above the two was mistletoe, causing both of them to blush, one more than the other. Tenten looked back to Neji expecting to see a scowl, instead she saw a plain face. Before she had time to react, he had brought his hand behind her head and kissed her. Just as quickly as it started, it had ended. Tenten's eyes were wide open the whole time in shock, when she looked up at her teammate she saw the faintest bit of a blush in his cheeks.

"Merry Christmas Tenten." He said, giving her a small smile.

"M-Merry Christmas Neji." She said, turning scarlet. Neji leaned down and whispered something that made her widen her eyes,

"I didn't do that just cause of the mistletoe you know." He said. Tenten stepped back and stared at him for a moment, before throwing her arms around his neck and bringing him into a hug.

"I love you, I have for a while now." She said.

"I love you too."
