"Rc3, what are you doing out in this storm?" Bonnie asked pulling Rc3 under her coat. It was a terrible storm with the wind and rain making walking treacherous.
She pulled Rc3 under the awning and ran her hand through his short and soggy raven locks.
"You okay?" The female mechanic asked out of concern for his safety and well-being.
When he began to shiver she wrapped him in an embrace and pulled him close. She’d give him her coat, but her coat was soaked through and would be of no service to him.
"I called for Devon to bring the semi," Bonnie stated gently.
"Rc, didn’t you leave with your bike?" She asked realizing he probably had to abandon his baby in the storm. "Don’t worry, okay. We’ll get it back soon. I’ll even help you fix it up." She offered sweetly knowing how heartbroken her friend and co-worker must have been over the temporary loss.
For now, Bonnie settled playing shield and blocking Rc3 from the driving rain.
