Jumping in my blacked out Raptor truck, with my soccer bag over my right shoulder, flinging it over to the passenger seat and driving the normal route I take at 7:20 5 days out of the 7 is always a drag, but it's not something I can pick out to be the worst thing that has happened in my life. Pulling into the parking lot filled with athletes, the geeks, the dramas, the druggies, the weirdos and the party kids are all spread out all over, walking into the place that takes over out lives at teenagers. Parking in my assigned parking spot and walking into school with my soccer bag, and books is the routine I do everyday.
I place my books and bag in my locker and walk along to first period which is sketching. I don't mind the class first period because I just sit there. I can't draw for my life, and to be honest, I don't know why I took this class. The teacher is actually the coolest teacher I ever met and let's me do noting all class. I take a seat in my assigned seat and put my headphones in my ears and listen to Drake take over my body with 'Nothing Was The Same'.
I notice Our teacher, Mr. Hall walk in with his sweater and khakis. "Nice sweater John" I laugh along with the class and Mr.Hall at this kid Jordan's comment.
"Oh please, like you wish you could rock this as good as me" he fires back making us all laugh. "Jaylynn, I can see you will be doing nothing again today?"
"I promise I'll write my name on the paper."
"Awe thanks " he laugh, as do I.
"Alright losers, there's a new student joining today so don't mess
With him too bad." Mr. hall explains, on que as the door opens and in walks in a tall, lean not with curly brown hair, pulled back in a navy bandana with black skinny jeans and a black shirt.
"I'm guessing you're Harry." Mr. Hall puts out his hand as The new kids hand collides with his.
"Yeah" he mumbles and takes a seat to the right of mine.
The smell of his cologne engulfs my nostrils causing a slight headache to form for me. I grunt causing the entire class to look at me.
"You good Blondie?" Mr. Hall asks me
"No, new kids cologne is giving me a headache."
"Boohoo, suck it up you big baby." The new kid laughs towards my direction causing me to turn and look at him.
" I won't hesitate to leap across this desk and smack your pretty little curl-" I get cut off by John
"Enough Jaylynn, go take a walk." He hands me the hall pass, as I walk out of the class room.
I really didn't do anything wrong right? I just said that his cologne was overwhelming, and the new kid had to step in and make a comment. Stupid little stuff like this is the reason i'm costing down the hours until the end of senior year. These next 5 months couldn't end soon enough.
I walk back into the class room 30 seconds before the bell rings , dismissing us to our next class. I walk to my Locker and grab my English and math books. I start walking to My AP English class across the school. When i'm about half way there, I feel a poke on my shoulder causing me to stop and turn around to see Niall.
Niall is a little blonde Irish boy that has been trying to get me to go out with him since the 3rd grade.
"Hey Jaylynn."
"Hey Niall." He smiles slightly
"Um, I was just wondering if you wanted to get some dinner Friday?" He looks down at the ground
"I'm sorry Niall, I have soccer tournaments all weekend and acouple test next week. I'm sorry."
"How many time are you going to turn me down Jaylynn?"
