"Yang, are you okay?"

Yang sat on her hospital bed, watching the snow fall daintily through a window next to her. She sighed, turning to see Ruby's face peeking above the bedside. Behind her were Blake and Weiss, both with a worried look on their face.

"Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about it. Doc says I'll be fine in a week or so." Yang replied, lifting her right arm gently with a wince.

"I still can't believe you thought rollerblading roof hockey was a good idea, especially since the roof is so small." Weiss sighed, "But I'm glad to hear you're okay."

"As am I." Blake agreed, "Do you want some water or anything?"

"Nah, I'm fine. Sorry about this guys, I don't think we're going to have a nice Christmas dinner like we wanted." Yang chuckled.

"Don't talk like that, we can always have a nice dinner once you're all healed up. Now get some rest, Ruby and I need to get shopping, the grocery store closes in an hour." Weiss sighed, helping Ruby up from the floor next to Yang.

"What about you Blake? Have any special plans?" Yang asked as she waved goodbye to Ruby.

"I was just going to sit around here and read, if you're alright with that." Blake replied, pulling a thick book from her tote bag.

"Whoa, how many pages is that? It's thicker than my bedrail, and have you seen how thick these things are?" Yang asked wondrously, measuring the bedrail to the book with her fingers. "Yup, that's thicker."

Blake laughed, "Just get some rest. If you need anything, I'll be right here." Her point was made by Yang yawning dramatically, she herself being surprised at it.

"I guess you were right, nighty-night!" Yang grinned, putting on a yellow eye mask, which matched Ruby's, only differing by the color palette.

"Goodnight Yang." Blake chuckled, setting down her tote bag next to the bed, "I need to grab something to eat, I'll be back soon. I'll have my phone on me at all-"

Blake was suddenly interrupted by a loud snoring noise, startling her quite a lot. "I guess you'll be fine." She smiled at Yang and turned off the lights, exiting the room.

Blake nodded at another Faunus who has just appeared outside the room, wearing a trench coat and a shady fedora. The Faunus nodded back and kicked a door open, revealing a small closet stacked high with boxes all marked 'X-MAS'.

"Time to get to work."
