Crystal's POV
I suddenly fell out of my bed, my alarm clock waking me up. "Damn you." I murmured. Great another day at school. I dressed up quickly since i only had 30 minutes to prepare, a quick shower and a change of clothes was all I needed. I took a shower and dressed up. I dug my closet to look for my favorite active shirt and slipped it on. Then I dug to my dirty landry to grab my black jeans. I wiggled to the left, and wiggled to the right, perfect fit. Shit, I forgot to do science homework. I shook my head and went downstairs.
"Honey, do you not want to eat? Remember breakfast is the most important meal of the day!"
"Yea come on, Cristal."
Ugh. I hate when my sister calls me that. My sister's name was Lauren, she was definitely annoying alright. But we still love each other anyways.
"No mom, I'm fine thanks for cooking though, I'll eat it for lunch."
"Mmkay sweetie, be safe. Bye!" she said as I hobbled out the door and into my car.
My mom, Lauren, and I were the only ones left in our family, since my dick-faced dad left us behind, leaving me and mom alone. I didn't like thinking about what happened in the past, so whenever someone remeinded me of it, I just merely shrugged it away.
I reached the parking lot of our school, WoodenDale High. My bros walked up to me. I call them bros cause the only friends I had were guys. I didn't care though I loved them all the same.
" Sup, man." Kyle pulled me in for a hug.
"Hey man." I said.
The rest of the guys greeted me and we headed towards the school's main entrance. All of a sudden the bell loudly rang, deafening my ears. Shit i said to myself, I was late. I ran as fast as I could to Mrs. Dingleberry's homeroom.
"Crystal Richardson, you are five minutes late." Her eyes glared at me and it felt like she was tearing me into a million pieces. Mrs. D stared at Matt and Thomas too. The rest of the guys had different classrooms to be late to.
"And you, Mr. Campbell, would you care to explain why you are late? As so Thomas?"
We all saw that we definitely interrupted her on something important. I glanced over to the side and to the students looking at us. A few were giggling, and a few were smiling. Until I saw someone that caught my eye.
A beautiful looking girl sat in the top left corner of the classroom. New girl, I thought to myself. There was something about that girl that made it seem like she was different. I didn't know why, but I found the urge to look at her throughout the whole class.
Stop looking at her you look like a creep.
I'm sorry but she's pretty and this lesson is boring so you can stop distracting me now.
Suddenly the bell rang, and we left to go to our next class. I tried to find the new girl so i could talk to her in the hallways, but I was covered by the millions of people.
At lunch, I sat with the guys.
"So, what'd you think of the new girl at homeroom?" Kyle asked, his smirk growing into a mischeivious grin. The rest of the guys laughed except for me.
"She's cool," I said. I was straight, DEFINITELY straight, but that made me think twice. I wasn't really all worried that I would be lesbian, someday becuase I kinda expected it. I mean, the fact that I hung out with all boys, wore the untypical girl clothes, and used some nasty language explains everything.
The new girl appeared in the cafeteria and she sat at an empty table by herself. I didn't know what I was doing, really, but I sat up from my chair and walked over to her. She looked up and stared at me.
