Welcome to the new book! I finally got 'round to adding final details like the cover and description, so now I can post it! Yay! And I know this is really short, but if this gets 10 reads or 2 votes (or both :P), then you get another chapter in one day! :3

Also, got any better ideas for a title? Cuz the current one is terriful (Terrible+awful).

Chapter 1/Prologue (cuz I can't decide which it should be :3)

(??? POV)

"Does this really have to be done?"

"I'm afraid so... the Kingdom is doomed, so we may as well let her have a life. Even if we won't..."

"Very well. Quick! I think I can hear someone!"

"I can't perform the spell any faster!"

"I'll distract them. Be swift. Goodbye, my love."

"No! Please, you'll die!"

"We'll die anyway. And if it means our daughter is safe, and has a chance, then I'll happily die sooner."

"It's almost done... there. Farewell, sweet daughter. May we meet again someday, whether in this life or the next."

(Another ??? POV)

What... I can't remember what happened... by the way, where am I? Blue... blue... oh no. Am I falling? Towards some water. Great, I'm gonna drown.

"Oh-boy-oh-boy-oh-boy-oh-boy-oh-boy!" I cried, feeling the wind tug at my clothes as I plummeted down, horrifically fast.

How did I get into this, is it my fault that I'm falling? Wait, I remember people talking... then... I was falling. I can only assume that it's their fault. The small waves in the water were getting bigger, and the icy depths swallowed me up. The impact felt like I broke everything in my body, and the coolness stole my breath away. I struggled to swim upwards, and managed to break the surface, taking a relieved gulp of air. Of course, a wave had to come over at that time and instead of air, I breathed water, and started to choke even more water. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move... I was going to die. This is it, not knowing anything, not learning anything about myself. Just lost and confused until I die. Everything went black.
