Her light had went out.

He couldn't believe it until he rushed to the main room and his eyes found the profile of his niece, the black tile across it that confirmed his fears and utterly crushed what hope he had. He had sent her down for a second chance and now it might be the same reason she was dead. His breath felt like it was hitched in his throat and he was completely unaware of what was happening around him until Abby placed her hand on his forearm, saying something completely inaudible to his ears. His attention was unfocused, bouncing from one thing to another until the room felt like it was spinning.

"Ryan? Breathe, okay? Jackson, we need a oxygen tank now!" He heard her shout over the blood rushing in his ears.

Breathe, Abby instructed, as if the simple word would ease the weight of guilt on him. Breathe, like the Ark wasn't already on limited air. Breathe.

Ryan struggled to actually inhale when he tried, his throat felt as if it had closed off any entry for air to go in. He held his hand up to Abby to tell her to hold for a second as he tried to move and desperately get out of the room that felt like it was spinning. Before he could process it, Ryan took one step and was on the floor and gasping for air. Through the black dots spotting his sight, he could see Abby crouch down in front of him, her mouth moving though the words never seemed to find his ears. Ryan shut his eyes and turned his head away from her, only for Abby to grab his face and put something over it. He still felt light headed, but could breathe.

"You're okay. Just breathe."

Breathe.

Raina sat at the end of the drop ship ramp, watching as the hundred entered their tents or the ship for the night. She particularly wasn't sleepy and she was unsure if it was because Finn took a trip with Clarke and she didn't want to sleep alone or she just wasn't tired. Either way, the Kane had a feeling she wasn't sleeping tonight. She was still upset over what happened with Murphy and Charlotte, but that wasn't the reason she wasn't sleepy.

"Look! A shooting star!" One of the hundred shouted, disturbing Raina of her thoughts. She looked at the crowd that had all huddled together to watch their first shooting star and curiously, Raina joined them. She finally found what they were seeing after a few seconds and her eyes widened in awe, but after another look, her brows furrowed in confusion. That was moving way too fast and too close to earth to be a star.

"I don't think that's a star." Raina exclaimed. She turned to Bellamy and Octavia who happened to be beside her, both looked at her expectantly with the same look. Raina noticed Bellamy was shirtless, again.

"Maybe they're finally sending us help." Someone behind her spoke. Raina nodded in agreement. "If it's from the Ark, we need to follow it and find it before grounders do. I doubt there would be much but maybe they sent a radio."

"No." Bellamy said sternly without missing a beat. He turned around and headed back to his tent and Raina followed behind him.

"No? Bellamy, whatever might be in that pod is in danger. We need to find it." She stated, her brows turning up in a frown as Bellamy put his shirt on and then turned to her and took a step closer. "And if you go out there, you'll be in danger." He shot back, mirroring her expression. "We wait until first light. That's the plan."
