A/N: This is a Valentines Day Challenge, so it's not very 'novelly' :)

He could feel the pressure on him now. He hated his friends for doing this to him. Her fair face seemed so tense, her posture so timid. He noticed every bit of it, from her head to her slim legs. All he could was stare, his body frozen in the reality of the situation. Don’t do it, his brain warned. It would be ironic if he listened to his brain, he never did. His heart screamed ‘YES!’. Tiffany didn’t seem so accepting of the dare, her face blushing and her eyes shifting away from Martin.

His friends formed a circle around them, with the offerings in the middle of it. The tension between was unimaginable. The eyes around them staring, not really helping them at all. Martin shifting himself closer to Tiffany, but she took a step back immediately. Her eyes questioned what he was about to do, yet his eyes were one of a horrid lust. He wanted to do it, but definitely not like this. He was thinking something more romantic. But he didn’t have the luxury of choice. He looked away for one moment, thinking about his actions. He felt as if the beating of his heart was about to break his ribcage apart. That was how nervous he felt, yet excited. His first kiss, spent on such a beauty.

He took another step towards her, and Tiffany inched towards him. He could see the hesitation in her eyes, but he was so tempted to just do it. To disregard her feelings completely and toss his doubt aside. Martin felt his body about to lunge itself at her thin figure, which always made him blush. Her small dark eyes which reminded him of black pearls and her curls which fell to her shoulders when it wasn’t up in a ponytail. It wasn’t, and it made her look so much better. Martin felt his heart pound even harder, and he wondered if Tiffany felt the same way. She probably didn’t she had always kept her cool. But he could see the genuine nervousness in her eyes, and how she pursed her lips.

They were now only inches away from each other, and everyone went quiet. The scene in the room got even tenser. He felt his brain scream at him even more, but he ignored it. He followed his heart, which usually led him to the worser of situations, but always made him happy. Happiness, would he find it with Tiffany. In a split second, he could feel her lips on his. He didn’t know what to do from here, he had no experience. He could only think of the true happiness he felt in that moment, it made him feel like helium. His heart soared to the sky as he felt the adrenalin in him pumping. It was such a weird situation, he never felt like this before. This true attraction, that he had towards her. He couldn’t do anything about it, he felt his body go numb as their lips parted. He could still taste her strawberry lipgloss on his lips.

Everyone had their fair share of laughs. Some chuckled, some giggled. Then came the shocker for the audience. Martin lunged himself forward to kiss her again, his hands on her hips and eyes closed in serenity. Everyone gasped, it was definitely not expected. He could feel Tiffany’s warmth, he could hear her heart beat. Never had he felt so close to her, as if they were one. He really didn’t want the moment to end, but he felt the instinct to pull away. He felt his face turn hot as he saw that Tiffany was completely red. In the crowd he could hear words like ‘violated’, ‘virginity’, and many other things that dramatized the situation. He could hear a soft mumble from Tiffany, one that made his heart stop beating for that one moment.

“I love you too.”
