Max's POV

The cab driver finally took me to Spark's side of town with a huge bribe. The gun in my backpack somehow felt heavier than normal. I paid the man quickly before running over to a house that was broken and sad looking.

The house may not mean much to most looking at it. It's broken and caved in roof, the paint peeling away from the sides of the house and broken windows screamed "Help me" or even "Go away".

"Spark!" I fiddled with the door before kicking it open.

Running to the kitchen, empty, the living room, empty. Going for the stairs I felt something urging me to the last room on the floor. This room was his sisters, silently I peeked through the door.

"Spark?" he sat on the bed, coming his hair roughly with his fingers.

"Max? You came?" His eyes not coming from the floor.

"Well no duh" I sat by him plopping onto the bed.

Georgia's room was a light purple, butterfly stickers coating the walls. Her walls lined with dolls and animals of all sizes and book shelves filed with fantasy books.

"She's only 7 Max" He growled at the floor. "Who would take her?"

"We will find her Sparky" placing my hand on his cheek, it was warm and wet.

Was he actually crying? He's been shot, stabbed, seen one parent murdered and he's crying because someone didn't pick his sister up from school. The teacher said that her 'mom' had picked her up but she didn't have a mom anymore.

"How max? She's probably terrified and scared or worse." He trembled a bit.

"I'll call Parker. Maybe she's on our side of the town or we could call-"before I could finish I was pulled into a giant bear hug.

"I'm sorry you meet me"

Parker's POV

"Missing?" Jack sat looking at me with a worried but calm.

"That's what I said" Jack stuttered a bit with his words.

"And you let Max go to him" signing I leaned further into my chair.

"I really didn't have a choice in where she went" He got up. "All I know is that I have a very bad feeling that his sister was taken by someone here"

"Are you kidding me?" My head snapped towards him. "My people wouldn't take a little girl just to get back at our little scare here a few days ago"

"Parker just ask around. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong, if I'm right then Max gets to go home for a few days without killing anyone" His voice seemed surprised at what he was saying, then he left my office.

"How dare you!" The door still slammed shut.

Storming around my office I roughly grabbed my coffee mug and whipped it at the door just as my father began to walk in, missing his face by a few inches.

"Hey Parker are you trying to kill me now!?" He laughed a little at my childish anger.

"No sorry" I sat back down at my desk rubbing my temples with my index fingers.

"Parker what do you want me to do?"

Such sincerity from a kidnapper himself. Yah you've heard me right my dad has kidnapped before but there was no harm involved, at all. I made sure of that.

"She's here somewhere. Call the search team I want every building swiped looking for a little girl named Georgia." He nodded before leaving.

One I find the person who took her they were going to not only deal with me and Spark but a very angry Max. And nobody wants to get on her bad side.
