The ringing of my doorbell interrupted my thoughts and my reminiscing.

I stumbled down the stairs and opened the front door.

Oh God.

Why is he here?

"Why the hell are you here?" I snapped, my voice wobbling.

His face looked hurt.

I shouldn't have snapped at him.

My lungs felt as though they were collapsing.

I couldn't breathe.

"I accidentally took your phone." He said.

That voice.

"You must have mine." His voice had no emotion. I must have pissed him off.

"Wait there." I said and went into the kitchen to find my bag before returning and finding the front door closed and a male sitting on my couch fingering through a photo album.

"You went to Calvin Rider's party in 2012?" He said, his voice laced with amusement.

"I thought I told you to wait there." I snapped.

He started laughing.

"You went in a g string bikini?"

He was keeled over, in hysterics.

"Shut up!" I yelled, tearing the album from his grasp and hitting him playfully on the arm with it.

"I was leading a bit of a wild life back then." I sighed.

"Don't I know it." He laughed and my stomach churned.

Shit. I'd forgot about that.

"You should get going." I snapped, harshly.

"Fine. I'll let myself out." He walked straight past me and through the door

"is that why you're mad?" He asked, stopping in his footsteps. "Because of that one night?"

"Yes, Travis. That's why I'm mad."
