chapter 40 They don't need to understand

Sapphires POV

I wake up still in Zoe's lap and arms but I soon realize a loud annoying sound coming from my phone and when I pick it up ready and poised to throw it, it dawns on me that my phone is ringing because my alarm is going off! I jump up and I run to Zoe's room ploughing through her closet trying to find some clothes of hers that would fit me since It's another dress-down day today. I finally come across a black shirt that's a lace material and a pair of black shorts and I rummage through her underwear draw finding a pair of thigh-high socks.

I quickly throw the clothes on and I rake the brush through my hair listening to my heart pound in my ribcage. running to Zoe I shake her shouting about how if we don't leave now we will be late! I watch her jump up and in record time she quickly throws on clothes and we run out to the car speeding there and when we get there I sneak to the front making sure no one saw me get out of Zoe's car when I see the coast is clear I run through the doors quickly blending in with the crowd heading to where ever they go in the morning. I sit down on one of the familiar peeling red benches putting my earbuds in so I don't have to deal with listening to other people's gossip.

As I am about to wiggle my left earbud in I'm grabbed and shoved into a hard chest and when I look up I come face to face with Lukas the big football player! I make a confused face when I remember he's dating one of the popular girls I can never remember the name of...Lukas what are you doing I say confused. all I get is a grunt as he not so gently sits down where I was sitting and he plops me in his lap and he faces me the other way and he shoves my face into his neck and I soon smell an intense amount of Axe pass by and when it disappears he gets up and gently sits me on my feet walking off.

as I think it hits me the guy who walked by is a quarterback and it's been going around that he's looking for a new toy since he broke up with his last girlfriend and Lukas knows he's taken a particular liking to me....I'll have to thank him later I think to myself as I get up walking to 1st period

*TIME SKIP TO LUNCH*

I sit down with some Homemade lunch and I start eating it in peace...that's until I'm approached by a hoard of popular girls, I mentally roll my eyes and the queen bitch of them all also known as Cara Devine, she tells me to stay away from Lukas! I shoo them away thinking about Zoe and as I go to put a piece of chicken in my mouth a finger taps me and I turn around to see a pair of nervous-looking girls. I smile and I ask if I can do anything for them but as I'm finishing my sentence both girls start shaking and one of them hands me a box of Panda Express H-Here w-we bought this for you senpai! I see them blush as my hands brush theirs taking the box and they run away whispering about how they finally talked to their senpai! I see them rush back to a table of girls wearing shirts that say Sapphire is ours Only... What the actual fuck I whisper to myself I say getting up and noticing the only trash can is right next to their table

Just suck it up I tell myself as I go to the trash can throwing the trash

one of the fangirls POV

I see Sapphire senpai come this way and it's like time stops and her beautiful brown hair swishes perfectly as she walks and she throws away her trash and I get a whiff of Japanese Cherry Blossoms and I feel blood trickle down my nose when she turns and I get a sight of Her ass as she walks away. I see her walk out and she heads to a room across the hall and that's all I see before the bell rings
