While Scott struggles as a new alpha, he as well as Allison and Stiles begin to experience side affects as a result of reigniting the power within beacon hills. Scott has lost all ability to control his werewolf shifts, Alison is seeing her dead Aunt Kate, and Stiles feels like as if he's lost his mind.
Tori is always worrying about her friends, and these situations along with more to come make it even harder for her to be happy and stress free. Herself and Isaac have become the new couple of Beacon Hills. People who don't know them would even go as far to say they're in love. The actions of the two happen to make an ex-boyfriend extremely protective over his first love.
With all the supernatural caused problem in these teenagers lives, these new threatening elements will be one of the worst, and they all can feel it. From creepy, black, faceless, ghost-like creatures carrying swords, to a very old, evil spirit who has decided to possess somebody's body in beacon hills. Tori, along with her friends, all want to not only kill the black spirits called 'Oni's' but they want to find the body that holds the evil spirit. And the pack want it dead. It's called a nogitsune, but they call it void.
