My name is Joshua. Josh, for short. It was moving day, and we had just finished packing up our things, and putting it all in the U-Haul. I lived with my big brother, Alex, and my dad, Gordon. It was about as bleak as the day could've been. Grey clouds hanging low in the sky, heavy rain, the whole nine yards. Finally, my dad said "Alright. Looks like we're done. Alex, make sure we didn't forget anything. Joshua?"
"Yeah?" I replied.
"Go get the dogs for me, will you?" My dad asked.
"Sure thing."After getting our dogs, Murphy and Oswald, we all piled into the truck, and set off. And, to be honest, The trip wasn't very likable. The ride itself was fine, it was my brother's constant complaining that I didn't like.
He would go on and on, like "God, are we there yet?", and "Can we stop somewhere? I need a cigarette.", to which my dad would reply "No", and Alex would just get more upset. I almost told him outright to just shut up, but I kept my mouth shut, knowing what was good for me. After a few hours, the rain had cleared up. By that time, however, it was 10:15, so we booked a night at a hotel, and rested.Okay this is all I can think of right now, be back later with more ideas. For now, I shall leave you all...
