"ZACK GET UP YOUR GOING TO BE LATE FOR YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!" His mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs. Twisting and turning from under his covers, Zac managed to get up and go to the bathroom for what he seems to be preparing for the worst day of his life: 11th grade. He fumbled with his toothbrush then looked up at his hair. "Should I comb it or just throw a beanie on" Zac thought to himself. Making a wise decision, he comb out the tangled knots and proceeded to get dressed. Like the lovely mother he knew his Mom was, she had already picked out his outfit; a blue plaid shirt, camoflauge jeans, and the special necklace his father left him before he died. Zac held the necklace in his hand before a tear formed in his eye. He missed his dad so much and wished that he was still there, but he knew he couldn't change anything. "Hey sweetie" his mom said standing in the doorway of his room. "Breakfast is ready downstairs if your hungry, I don't want you leaving without having anything in your system". "Thanks Mom" replied Zac. He put the necklace on and went downstairs to the kitchen where his little sister June was already eating her cereal. He took the seat across from her and grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl. "Good Morning brother" said June. She was wearing a black top with blue jeans and tied black shoes. "Good Morning" replied Zac. He slowly ate the apple, purposely trying to waste time on getting to school early. "Nice try mister, but you have to take June to the bus stop so stop wasting time and get up" Mom said. Zac groaned at the thought of actually going to school on time and having to meet new people. "Come on June I'll walk you to the bus stop". Zac and June left the house and went a couples of blocks down the street from their original destination. The bus was already there with kids climbing on very quickly. "Hurry June run and catch the bus because I don't fell like driving you to school" yelled Zac. She quickly went into a full sprint, barely catching the bus before it took off. He turned around and walked back to the house and climb into his car. He still remembers the day he got it for his 16th birthday, but yet it felt so long ago. Zac started the car and drove from his house all the way to his school, BrookVille High. He looked at the large building, comparing it to how much it has improved since last school year. New doors, new windows, better looking grass, and yet he was the same person. Zac got out of the car and headed for the front doors until a very strong force knocked him off his feet. He looked behind him and saw Aladdin Carter; his childhood bully since the 4th grade. "Well, well, well isn't it the little wimp who runs scared" laughed Aladdin. "What do you want" asked Zac. "To stay out of my way or else" said Aladdin in a very sinful voice. The way he said it shook Zac to the core and he got very nervous, more nervous that he quickly got up and ran to the front doors.
