Chapter 1: Results

Chapter 1: Results

Tris' P.O.V.

(The screen just appeared and showed the rankings)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         1. Oh my gosh! I can't believe I got first.That can't be possible... but I did do well in simulations.

4. Marlene

5. Peter

Oh well, I gues  Peter stays.

I smile. Christina reaches over the table to hug me. Uriah comes and shouts in my ear," You beat them!" Then I look at the rest of the list, 8, 9, and 10 are Dauntless-borns and 11 and 12 are Molly and Drew. At least they're cut..... I look around and find Christina and Will kissing, a little to sloppily for my taste though. The I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to find... Tobias. I get up, beaming.

                "You think giving you a hug would give it away?" He asked

                "You know," I say," I don't really care."

I stand up on my tiptoes and press my lips to his. Best kiss ever. I hear shouts, murmurs, and whoops among the crowd as we break apart. Tobias doesn't look too happy that we stopped but I wanted to see everyone's faces.  I see Christina and Will staring,no wait, gaping at us, both opening and closing their mouths like a fish. Hahaha! Then I see Peter who looks like he is about to explode. 3,2,1,-          

                "What?!" Peter shouts,"I was right! The Stiff cheated! The Stiff only came in first because she probably slept with our instructor!" 

Tobais and I laugh. It looks like Peter is about to come towards me but he doesn't get close because Uriah punches him in the face and Marlene kicks him "where the sun don't shine." Someone takes him to the infirmary and I remember what Peter said. That made me remember my fear- Intimacy. Great, I think, now I have to figure out  to tell Tobias. Do I even have to? Yes. I'm taken out of my thoughts when Tobias takes me over to Uriah and Marlene. We thank them for getting rid of Peter.

                     Uriah says," No problem! I've been wanting to do that since I met him! He is soooo annoying!" Cue laughter...."Oh and bye the way Tris," Uriah starts to say," Congrats!" I don't know what he congrated me for, getting first or for dating Tobias....Zeke comes over to us and it looks like he's drunk because he is swaying and stinks. 

                         He says to Tobias, well "Four", " Dude! why didn't you tell me you were dating the Stiff? I tense at the word "Stiff". I think Tobias noticed that to because he put his arm around my waist. Tobias just says to Zeke," Her name's Tris and will you please go away. I'll explain later." Tobias looks really impatient. All Zeke says is," Ok! Chill man! Geez, is it that time of the month for you?" and then he walks away. I can't help but laugh a little, but Tobias just looks raged. I start to kiss him to calm him down when I hear an "awwww." Christina. I turn around to find Christina smiling at us and looking like she might explode from joy and Will looking at Tobias, with a smirk on his face.

                         "I knew it!" Christina shouts,"I knew you two were dating! You guys always looked at each other funny."

I blush and look over at Tobias who's also blushing. "Awwww....," I say," Is the great and almighty T-, I mean, Four blushing?" Whoops, I almost said his real name. I see that saying that just makes him blush harder and Christina, Will, and I just laugh, but then Tobias goes into "instructor mode" and glares at Christina and Will. They stop laughing, but I laugh harder.

                           "Tris," Will says," how are you not scared of Four?" "Yeah," Christina says. Tobias just chuckles.

                       "He's not scary," I answer,"that's it. There's no reason why, he's just not to me." "Thanks, Tris," Tobias says sarcastically. 

                                  "Well, we'll just leave you guys to yourselves, ......alone,"Christina says," Bye!" She and Will leave with Tobias and I following. I wonder which job I will choose? I can be a tattoo artist and work with Tori, or be an initiate trainer with Tobias, yeah I like that, or I can become an ambassador, but then I would most likely see my father and.... him. I am still thinking when Tobias calls my name

                                   "Tris," He says "Yeah," I reply." I was wondering, um, if you, um, would, like to ,um,"Tobais stammers. "Yes?" I say. "Doyouwanttomoveinwithme?" He asks really quickly so that I don't understand. "Uh, what? Sorry, can you say that again? I couldn't understand you," I say. Tobias lets out a deep breath. " Do you want to move in with me?" he asks looking really nervouse. Move in with him? I want to but what about my fear? "Tris?" Tobias says looking anxious. I guess I have to deal with it. "I would love to," I reply to Tobias. He lets out a breath. "Few!" He says," I thought you were going to say no. You weren't saying anything for I while and then I got really nervous......" and he starts babbling on and I stop him with a kiss. He pulls back grinning and leads me to his, our, apartment. 

A/N: How do you guys like it? Please constructive critism is great and so are ideas! and no Tris and Tobias aren't going to do anything. Next chapter won't probably be up for a while, I'm really busy. and the next chapter will start when they get to their apartment. Thanks!
