"Throw it all down rock this quiet little country tow-." I reach under my pillow and turn off my alarm. I still don't understand why I wake up at 5:45 every single morning. I don't even take that long to get ready. I sigh and pull myself out of bed. I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Ava Williams. I'm 17, a virgo, I have brown hair and blue eyes, or at least that's what my parents say.

Anyway, back to my stupidly early morning. As I walk across my room to the bathroom, I grab my clothes out of my dresser and go into the bathroom to start my morning routine. I take a warm relaxing shower and then get dressed and put some make-up on, then do my hair. I do a once over to make sure everything looks okay then run downstairs to eat breakfast. As I enter the kitchen I see my mom cooking eggs and bacon.

"Good morning, Ava. How did you sleep?" She asks smiling at me.

"Good mom. Where's dad?"

"He's still upstairs. He should be down any second."

I go and sit down at the table and hear my dad come in.

"Good morning my beautiful ladies how are you this morning?" He says as he hugs my mom and kisses her on the cheek.

"We are great. How are you?" my mom asks as she puts the eggs and bacon on a plate.

"I'm great, this food looks amazing. Thank you honey."

I love my parents' relationship. They are soul mates. Seriously. You see, everyone is color blind until you meet your soulmate. You know, the one person they are meant to spend the rest of their life with. Then you see the colors. I'm always having my mom describe colors to me. I can't wait 'till I can see them. And, to meet my soul mate of course. It will be the best day of my life.

I'm snapped out of my day dream as my mother says,

"Ava it's time for school. You're going to be late."

I run out of the kitchen and grab my keys and my bag.

" Bye guys I'll see you after school!" I yell over my shoulder.

"Bye sweetie." I hear both my parents say as I shut the door.

I hop in my car and speed off to school. I get there with 5 minutes to spare. As I walk in the door I get a text from my best friend; Samantha.

Where are you girl you better not be skipping again!!

I laugh and respond

No worries i'm here. I just walked in the door.

I rush to my locker to get my crap for my morning classes and run to first period. I really don't see the point of math. When am I ever going to use y=mx+b EVER in my life? I sit down in my assigned seat and start drawing on my notebook and day dreaming waiting for this class to end.

As I'm drawing another swiggle on my book, I hear my name being called. I look up very confused and look around to see who called my name. As I look around, I can see my very pissed off math teacher staring at me.

"Oh you finally decided to look up have you?"

"Sorry Mrs. R. It won't happen again." I lie.

I look back down and go back to my doodling. When I finally hear the bell ring, I grab all my stuff and head out the door to my favorite class: online Sign Language. It is so much fun. I already finished the course, so I'm just messing around with different signs 'till I can take my final.

"Ava!"

I see Samantha coming over to login and start her online class.

"Hey Samantha how are you doing this fine morning?"

"I'm good. You'll never guess who I saw this morning."

"Who? Kevin Bacon?"

"No you dumbass, it was Ian Ryder!" She says with a deadpan look on her face. Hey, a girl can dream.

"No freaking way! I thought he wasn't being released 'till july?!"

You see, Ian Ryder was arrested last year. No one knows why, just that one day the cops showed up during lunch and took him away. I still remember the smirk on his face as they took him out in handcuffs.

"I guess he got out early. He's still as hot as before."

Of course she would think that.

"Come on Sam is that all you think about?"

"Yeah, duh." She says with a smile on her face.

I shake my head and smile.

"Come on the bell is about to ring let's go."
