Chapter 6

*John Luke POV*

After such a wonderful dinner I suggested that we went back to Madi’s place so we could watch a movie.

This whole night I have been wondering if I should pop the question, no not for her to be my wife, for her to be my girlfriend. Madi was amazing and everytime she looked at me or touched me I got butterflies in my stomach.

I was trying to decide when Madi spoke up “You know I had a great time at dinner tonight!”

“I did too”

“So what type of movie are you looking forward to watching?” She questioned me.

“I have no clue, we could watch a comedy?”

“Or a chickflic!” She replied while laughing.

“Whatever you want babe.” She blushed at my usage of babe.

Before I knew it we were pulling into her driveway. Once I helped her out of my truck we walked in to see Sadie and Brantley smirking at us. Why were they together? I wonder if they have somethin’ up there sleeves.

“I am going to change into some more comfortable clothes.” Madi announced “JL, if you want something more comfortable I bet Brantley would let you borrow somethin’.”

“Nah, I’m fine.” I said.

As soon as Madi left I was hit with a bunch of questions from Sadie and Brantley.

“How did it go?”

“Did you kiss?”

“Are you going out with her?”

“Where did you-” I cut Sadie off. “Ok it went wonderful, at least I thought it did. No we did not kiss and no we are not going out, but that may not last for long. And we went to the local Cheesecake Factory.” I smiled up at them.

After answering a few more questions, Madi headed down the stairs and asked “Ready babe?” I nodded my head. She was now wearing sweats that said Napa High down the side with a tournament shirt from softball. She also had monkey slippers on and her hair was now up in a messy bun.

We began walking down the hallway towards the movie room when I spoke up and said “You know you look perfect in anything you wear?” I told her.

She just smiled at the ground. (insert What Makes you Beautiful by One Direction, but when you smile at the ground it ain’t hard to tell…. ahah :))

*Madi POV*

I was a bit nervous John Luke would be turned off by my appearance but I was comfortable so I really didn’t care. Once we got into our movie theater, I picked my all time favorite movie.

“What we watchin’” John Luke asked.

“You’ll see.” I said while smiling up at him. Before we knew it the name ‘Mean Girls’ was displayed on the tv. John Luke just chuckled to himself and wrapped his arm around my waist, and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

When it got to the part where Cady had a party, and ended up throwing up in front of Aaron right before they were about to kiss, I looked up to John Luke and said “I sure hope that never happens to me.”

“Well let’s find out.” Before I could process what he meant he looked down at my lips and began leaning in. Next thing I knew his soft lips were pressed against mine. Once I figured out what was going on I began to kiss back. He then did the unthinkable, he licked my bottom lip begging for entrance. I was a little tease though so I pulled back. We were both breathing heavy and both whispered “Wow.”

Once the movie was over I began to get a little worried, “What if people don’t like me on the first day of school?” I asked John Luke. Today was Saturday, which means I start at my new school on Monday.

“They’ll love you! Im for sure sweetheart.” He said before leaning in and kissing me again. I could never get tired of those lips!

We kissed for a little longer when John Luke pulled away and said “Madi, would you like to be my girlfriend?”

Since I did like him, I just leaned in and pecked him on the lips.

“I will take that as a yes?” He asked me.

“Yes, at least you weren’t so nervous this time” I laughed at him. We both got off the chairs and walked out of the movie theater. Once we got into the living room we saw Sadie and Brantley locking lips.

We just laughed and walked up to my room.

I looked at my ihome and saw that it was already 11:30. “Do you want to just spend the night?” I asked John Luke.

“Of course Mad.” He said.

“Okay JL!” I said.

I immediately jumped into bed, but John Luke thought otherwise. He began to strip down out of his pants and shirt. I gasped and enjoyed his perfectly toned abs. “Sorry babe, this is how I sleep. Stare all you want.” He said with a wink.

He then climbed into bed and pulled the covers over us.

He then leaned over and kissed me. After a while he begged for entrance again. I thought since we were together why not. I slightly opened my mouth and his tongue immediately took dominance. We were fighting for a while when he decided to climb on top of me. He held himself up by his elbows.

Before long he moved his lips down from mine and was kissing my jaw line. While he was doing so he grinded his hips against mine. He then moved back up to my lips and continued grinding. It felt so good! Once I moaned he took the opportunity to continue exploring my mouth with his tongue.

His fingers then began playing with the edge of my sweats. I pulled away and said “Not now babe”

He looked kind of disappointed but he just shook it off.

“Goodnigh’ babe” he said.

“Night.” I replied and he snuck one more kiss.

I swear before I fell into a deep slumber I heard him mumble about how good of a kisser I was.
