14 years later ••• Marnie

"Baby?" I call for Elijah around the house "I'm in here" he says talking from our room. I walk in as he takes his medication, he survived the bullet to his head but now has to take medication for it, if he fails to take them then there's chances that he can loose his memory. He also has to go for six week check ups just incase.

He swallows his water "what's wrong?" He asks "Paisley has gone missing" I say panicking "calm down, don't worry we'll find her" he says placing his hands on my shoulders, Daxton comes in, "mom I've looked for her everywhere, she's not in this house" he says "okay grab a jacket and throw on your shoes, we have a drive around and look for her" Elijah says and Daxton walks off

"Baby she's 18 I'm sure she hasn't gone that far" Elijah says comforting me "okay, well I'll put on my shoes and grab a jacket" I say sighing sadly, he lifts my chin up "it's gonna be fine, if we go and look now" he says and then he kisses me, I kiss back and then he hugs me.

We get in the car and Elijah quickly locks the front door before getting in, he starts the engine and we drive off.

"I can't see her anywhere, we've driven around the block so many times" I mumble "he looks at me and then back at the road speechless.

"Mom why are you panicking so much, she might just be at her friends house or something" Daxton says to me

"Listen dax, when mom was the same age as Paisley she went through some shit okay, shit that neither you or Paisley knew about, that's why she's panicking ok?" EJ says to Daxton as he looks in the rear view mirror

"Mom what happened when you was Paisleys age?" I sigh lightly "I was kidnapped and basically abused, that's all you gotta know, don't ask again" I snap a little "sorry" i whisper loudly realising that I just had a go at him.

"Babe, what's the time?" I say getting worked up again "it's 2:24" he says disappointment and shock in his voice.

Paisley

"Please I just wanna go home" I cry and he looks at me and smirks a little.

"You cry just like your mother did" he says as his whole hand wraps around my neck making me squeal a little.

I ignore what he says and watch as my tears run down his hand, I grab his wrist because I can feel him tightening his grip around my neck, he then looks at my wrist "where did you get that bracelet from?" He asks deeply "the basement" I reply quickly and out of breath, I start clawing at his hand so he can let go as I cannot breath

I can feel myself starting to go light headed, then he lets go  and I cough constantly, I run to the bathroom and throw up.

"He appears at the bathroom door frame "you good?" He asks them he laughs. "Your a weak little one aren't you, certainly not like your mother"

I flush the toilet and wash out my mouth "why do you keep speaking about my mom?" I ask quietly "didn't she ever tell you, when she was your age I kidnapped her too"

I become more scared of this man "so does that mean that this bracelet is hers?" I ask and he nods "possibly, I guess because it says the name Marnie on it, " he smiles

"I was more soft with your mom, because I got what I wanted out of her like sex, head, you get what I mean right, I pretended I loved her when deep inside I didn't, I wanted to kill her. I pushed her off the balcony but your punk ass daddy saved her. I nearly gave her brain damage because I used to hit her so hard around the face" he laughs again

"those times where fun, but unfortunately I can't have sex with you, I'm in my late thirties and your 18, but wait, I'm Jacob Perez, I don't give a shit, I'll do what I like" he smirks

"Go to my bedroom now" he says.
