Land of Imagination

It was a fine sunny day in the country and everyone was going about there business. 12 year old Grace Brown was lounging around in her bedroom reading, Grace was keen reader and over the years she had spent reading books her imagination had developed so mush that it almost seemed real. But what Grace didn't know was that her imagination had indeed come to life.

Through-out her life, Grace's brother Barton had stayed by her side through thick and thin. Barton Brown was fifteen. He had short black hair and big brown eyes, unlike his sister who had blonde hair and blue eyes, just like their mother. At school Grace and Barton had no friends so the usually just stayed together during classes and lunch. Every day Grace and Barton would get teased because they would hang out together and because they were different, but Grace and Barton usually just ignored them and continue on their way home.

Being at home was just like being at school because their father would bully and abuse them. He told them to get all of the childish stories out of their heads and act like normal children. Their mother would usually be there to calm him down but she had passed away a few years ago and that'd when their father turned abusive. Sometimes when Grace and Barton had enough of their dad they would spend a few nights in the woulds to clear their heads, but that would usually mean they would have to suffer a beating when they got home.

One day when they were walking home from school they heard voices coming from their house "look I know you want to keep them but you're not going to be able to, Grace and Barton need a proper family" said an unknown voice
