PROLOGUE

A forgotten dream, a newfound hatred. A subtle step, a creaking door, the dust and smell a sphere of severity around the box. Joaquin Miller was upset with the move from his childhood home. It was small, simple... it worked. But now, nothing seemed right. The anxiety was an overflowing river.

CRASH.

He was shocked. Then another voltage to his system. A voice...

"Okay, you found me. Now before you freak out Ill give you a choice."

The man looked like nothing teenage Joaquin had ever seen. It was impossible to estimate his age.

"You know what. I'll come downstairs. Make myself a coffee. Get ready for a story."
