^^Natasha's P.O.V.^^
"Ugh", I say as I turn around to turn off my abhorrent alarm clock and managing to fall of the bed with a thud and pushing my clock even further away. I stand up grumbling under my breath and turn it off. I get in the shower. When I got out of the shower I put on this cute outfit that is white covered in lace and a cute pastel-ish pink skirt, with some black converse. Then I French braided my hair up into a semi-neat bun.
I quickly I went to my little brother James's room and woke him up then, I ran downstairs with my backpack on my shoulder for some breakfast, it was now 7:45 and I had 15 minutes to get to school. It was my first day of twelfth grade and I am so ready for the year to start. I love school so much, yes I know I'm nerd. I got a bowl and poured myself a bowl of Fruity Pebbles, which is my absolute favorite cereal in the whole world.
I quickly finished my cereal and grabbed my bag off the counter and went to the bottom of the stairs and yelled "James Michael Thicke, get your tiny turd hole down here now we're gonna be late!" I smiled to myself for my clever response. "Okay I'm coming I'm coming calm your nuts!" James yelled back. I laughed and walked into the kitchen to say goodbye to my dads. Yes, I said dads, yes I have gay dads, there names are Tom and Jerry, call Tom father and Jerry Dad, me and James were adopted together but I don't care I love them both.
I get in the car and plug my phone into the aux cord and My Band by D12 starts blaring through the speaker I jumped a lot and hit my knees on the steering wheel and bit my tongue. I silently cursed under my breathe, then my brother got in the car and looked at me funny "What got in your pants?" he asked. "Nothing, lets just go" I said, and drove off.
I parked my car and me and james went into the high school, I found my locker and put my books away except the ones I need for my first three classes because then it would be lunch. I looked at my schedule and found my first class and found my one and only friend Laleah because I am in no way popular at all and sat by her.
^^Lunch Time^^
Laleah and I went to an empty table in the back of the cafeteria. We sat in comfortable silence until Laleah started snapping in my face, and said "Your not still crushing on Zack Ryder are you?!" I just looked down and then she gasped way over dramatic and said in a hushed whisper "I can't believe you! You've literally had a crush on him for six years! Go talk to him!" I looked at her like shes gone crazy (more than she already has) and replied "Are you crazy! He's so popular and we are not! He probably doesn't even know my name." She replied just as fast "well you'll never know if you don't try." Then as if on cue the bell rang and we went to class.
After all the boring classes we finally got to my absolute favorite class, band. I play the flute and Laleah plays the clarinet so that's nice. After band Laleah and I split up (sadly) and I went to wait for my idiotic 16 year old brother. When he got in the car he slammed the car door. I looked at him then started to drive, I looked at James "What's your problem?" He glared at me but replied anyways, "I'm just frustrated because there's this girl I like and the homecoming dance will be coming up but I can't freaking figure out a way to ask her out!" I was shocked. I looked at him and carefully "I think you need to ask her in a simple but romantic way." He looked at me with a smirk "I think you need to listen to your own advice." I then yelled back "JAMES!!" He busted out laughing "WHAT!" Then we were both laughing and spent the rest of the car ride laughing to the point of tears.
If you haven't figured it out yet my brother and I have a really close relationship, we tell each other everything.
When we got home we did normal things like homework, watch TV, etc. Until me and James were playing COD together on my Xbox and then my dads called James and I downstairs and and said that they needed to talk to us. James and I just looked each other "That's weird." I said confused. He nodded, we walked down the stairs together, once we were down stairs our dads sat us down and said "We are going to be leaving for a trip to South Carolina for a week in a couple of days." I was really confused at this point and I think it showed on my face because my father (Tom) continued speaking. "I really hope you guys aren't mad at us but we are planning on adopting another child."
I was so surprised all I could muster out was gibberish. James started laughing at me then I did and pretty soon all four of us were laughing and then when we finally calmed down my dads were able to finish explaining. My dad (Jerry) said "We are getting another girl." I then interrupted my dad to yell "YESSSS!!!!" My dad looked at me through the top of his eyes then continued speaking "Her name is Zaria, and she is 3 years old. We are going to finalize the paperwork so when we come back we will have a daughter and you guys will have another sister." Then my father (Tom) asked "What do you guys think?" I looked at him with a huge grin on my face and said "I love it I'm so excited!" Then after I said that we all looked at James who was sitting there looking at the ground thinking and waited for him to say something but he didn't for a while so right when I was about to say something he finally said with a grin "I'm just kidding you guys I'm excited."
