===========================

The morning sun rose.It was pale,as the fog had risen from the ground.It was a high fog,and you could barely see the distant trees and woods.The woods was very quiet,not even birds chirped.All you heard was the breaths of the sleeping crew.The walkers weren't seen or even heard.It was as if it was over.But was it?

Abbey was the first to wake up.She was sleeping parallel to Sierra.She scurried herself up,scared.She thought Sierra was dead.She looked at her,seeing her breathing along with everybody else.Abbey took a breath of relief,shaking her head and rubbing her face.She sat with her elbows on her knees,watching the others.Was there anything else to do?

Zoe mumbled and groaned,slowly pushing herself up.She sat,rubbing her face and ruffling her hair.She used her fingers to comb through her hair.

"Why the hell are you staring at us?",Zoe said,her voice raspy and tired.

Abbey jumped,snapping out of thought."What?No," she said,"I was just daydreaming.Like there's anything better to do?"

"True.Whoa,it's foggy.",Zoe mumbled,shocked. She then twisted her back and looked to see Max,sleeping.One of his hands layed on his chest,and his other hand layed beside him. She laughed a little,slightly.She thought about kicking him awake.After a second of deep thought,she walked up and gave him a good kick to the shoulder.He jolted like as if he was hit by lightning,then jumped to his feet as Zoe giggled.

"What the hell?!",Max said,"Where are they?!"

Zoe then laughed.Max gave her a suspicious look.He eventually caught on to the idea that Zoe was fooling him,so he narrowed his eyes yet smiled.

Sierra had gotten herself up.She shook her hair,making it fall into place.They all stared at the risen fog.They ignored it,since it was simply the weather,something that can't be controlled.The group gathered their things and walked into the dry part of the forest,trying to find any form of life,or even just a shelter.

The dry ground crunched beneath their feet.The fog misted their faces.The sky was grey.The crew stayed silent the whole walk.It seemed there was nothing to talk about.Sierra's mind was still fixed on Alec.She pictured the moment of his death.She just never believed it would happen.

They reached what the crew had called,"Haymus' Village".They could tell where they were by this name,since it was where Haymus died.They walked swiftly,trying to avoid a rampage of the walkers.They had invaded the village,walking the streets with their moans and groans that filled Sierra with rage.It filled Zoe with rage as well.They stayed silent and moved swiftly,staying avoided and uncared about by the dead.

Abbey leaned it towards Zoe,trying to whisper something to her.

"Why are we-",Abbey whispered.

"Shut the hell up before we all die.",Zoe whispered,interrupting her.Abbey leaned away,almost holding her breath in fright.Max leaned close to Zoe,their arms brushing up against each other's.Zoe felt it,rolling her eyes.The walkers made the groups' hearts' beat faster,filling with adrenaline and nervousness.

Everybody made it to the end of the village in one piece.At the end of the village lay a herd of walkers,along with dead bodies.The corpses did not phase the group now.It was like they were immune to the sight of death.They had seen too much of it,that they got used to it.
