Chapter 35

Amanda's POV

I woke up next to Shiloh. He was shirtless and his hair was a mess up on his head.

"Good morning Mrs. Gonzales" he smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Good morning Mr. Gonzales" I leaned into his shoulder. 'Not' glancing at his sexy body. Just looking at his 6-pack made my heart leap.

"Here" he smiled moving my hand on his hard stomach.

I kissed his lips softly as he moved his hands down my naked back. Why am I naked? Because we're married and we can do what the hell we want.

"Last night was-" I began

"Perfect. So perfect" he finished. It brought a smile to my face.

He pushed a piece of my hair behind my ear. "You're so beautiful."

My cheeks got hot. The corners of his mouth went up, revealing perfect whit teeth. His stubble on his face looked as if he had freshly shaved. His blue eyes stuck out on the fresh daylight.

I swung my legs out of bed and walked over to the bathroom. As I walked past the mirror in Shiloh's place I stopped suddenly.

My face glowed while my lips were swollen. I mean we've had sex before but something's is different now.

Maybe it's the fact that everything between us is different. Not the same ,but not to different.

I feel the same as I did before we were married. I'm confused here.

All I know is that I love Shiloh. Yeah I'm only 18. I know I'm young but when you know, you know. You know?

I was snapped out of my thoughts as my phone buzzed. I looked at the caller i.d.

"Hey Rae!" I answered

"Great news Mrs. Gonzales!"

I smiled at the mention of my new name. She told me all about the acceptance into Berkley!

I must've screamed loud enough for Shiloh to hear me. "Wow thinking about our night together?" he hugged me around my waist.

"Gross Shiloh. Just eew" Rae said. He laughed and told me that he was going to the kitchen to get breakfast made.

I thanked him as I kept talking with my sister. "How are you and Donny?"

"AMAZING!" she yelled "I love living with him! it's crazy how we made it with mom and Zander that long!"

"Right? how did we do it?" I asked

"I don't know! how's married life treating you?" she asked

"It's fin! we get to do all these married people things!" I chanted in the phone.

We laughed a little longer as Shiloh burst in the room. "Baby we gotta go!" he said.

"Rae. I'll talk to you later" I hung up the phone and walked up to Shiloh.

"Put on your clothes."

I could hear a senseless urgency in his voice. "Baby! what is it?" I asked kissing his cheek.

"It's Donovan!" we both got dressed and ran to his mustang. Immediately we drove to the hospital. I held on his hand the whole time.

"What happened?" I asked him

He just shook his head. For once he was quiet about something. He must be really worried

"He'll be okay. I'm here for you" I said to Shiloh in a whispery voice.

"I love you" he said and kissed my hand.

As we pulled up to the hospital I could sense Shilohs fear. His pulse quickened in his hand.

We sat down next to Ashlynn and Amy. "Call your sister"

"Actually. She already knows." Raelynn said behind us.

I put my arms around her. "What jappened?"

We leaned in as my sister told us the story about how Maria had Donovan was jumped by some guys.

"I saw it all" she cried into my shoulder.

"Are you guys here for Donovan-"

"Yes we are!" Rae and Shiloh ran up to her. They looked at each other with hatred.

"Well, he has many broken bones. Also a major concussion. But he will be okay. It might take a couple of weeks to recover but I say that he's lucky to be alive" the nurse answered and walked away but stopped.

"Who's Raelynn?" she asked. " He's asking for her." raelynn stepped forward

"That's me" Rae said with tear stained cheeks.

"Come with me" the nurse took her to what I assume is Donovan's room.

Shiloh stood up and grabbed my arm. "We have to talk. Now"

"Okay where?" I asked. His jaw clenched tight and his cheeks got red.

He practically pulled me outside to the car.

He went over to his side and slammed on the door. "DAMMIT" he banged in the steering wheel.

I held on his throbbing arm. "Shiloh what!!?" I yelled at him as he started to tear up.

"Shiloh?" I asked him.

He put his forehead on the steering wheel and started to cry. "It's me."

I looked at him. "What's you?"

"I'm the reason she is doing this. She wants me"

"Who? Maria?" I pulled his head onto my shoulder.

"Yes." He looked up at me with bloodshot eyes.

"How?" I asked. Shocked.

"I don't know! Amanda, we need to get out of here"

It all makes sense now. She never came after me or Shiloh. She never hurt us. She tried to kill everyone around us. It's him. She's after him.

"What did you do to her?" I asked.

"Nothing." He cried. "She has ways though. I know she does."

"Florida"I said. The idea suddenly in my head.

"What?" he asked me.

"We could go to Florida. Think about it. I could apply to the university of Florida. You have your business you could do. We'd be safe."

His phone buzzed. He looked down and rubbed his neck. His cheeks got redder. I pulled his phone out of his hand. "It's her."
