Journal 2: Monday July 27th
Dear Journal,
Sorry that i haven't wrote in a while; nothing really has happened. the voyage so far has been on schedule, because of the smooth sailing. I forgot my motion sickness pills though luckily, I'm not the only one with that problem. Steve said he too didn't have them on his first trip and wish he had , and hand me some saying they were some extra he had, and because of that we started to talk and ever since then i have been spending a lot of time in the kitchen. with everyday i've discovered I like Steve more and more by the hour. He's very friendly, understanding and once you break him out of his shell a little he's really funny. He dresses different now since we have been aboard. he wears a plane sweater and jeans. My early observations of him have changed rapidly since first meeting him. i found that under that shirt of his he has quite the six-pack (i accidentally spilled food on him because of my undeveloped sea-legs, but i think i would be willing to spill some more on him again). but anyways David is letting me sleep in his room. he said and i quote, " it's unfit for a women to sleep with such scaly wags." and he said it all in a very parity accent. it was impressive how realistic it was. The funny thing is that at night the captain won't let me out of the room. The room is designed to look like an old captain's room from around 1600s, which I myself found it to be pretty cool. I find David to be just as interesting as Steve. He is very kind and seems to have a great interest in mythology, which I myself love to study,so we have many good conversation also. The rest of the crew scares me though and thats saying a lot for me considering the other types of situations i have been. the one that scares me the most is a man named George. he just keeps staring at me funny. I try to start up a conversation with him but every single one of them falls flat of helping achieve a relationship of any sort.
A sudden knock was at Ashlee's door makes her jump. she shuts the journal "come in!" she quickly slides it and the pen into the satchel that was still on her shoulder. A man that she had never seen before comes into the room.he was tall, and looked as though Hollywood had created him themselves. his eye looked left then right. then he walked towards her quickly. "who are you." she quickly stood up from the desk she had been sitting at. " we got to leave now and i'll explain later." he had an Australian accent. " Why would i trust you?" his voice was so familiar to her, but she couldn't place it. "please your in trouble. Just trust me." he said calmly but she could still hear the urgency still in his voice. She carefully started to walk towards him till she saw another unfamiliar man step behind him, " yeah just trust him sweetheart." the man that had first came into the room was surprised by the voice, and then rage surge threw his face. He pulls out his sword that had been strapped at his hip, and sliced at the air where the other man once had stood.
"Oh,you got to try harder then that Stevie." said the other man. "no wonder his voice sounded so familiar, but how in the world did his face change" she thought. the other man knocked the sword out of Steve's's hand when he tried to go in for a jab. Steve grabs his hand in shock at the unexpected pain. The strange wastes no time and he puts the cutlass to Steve's throat.
" I would suggest, Ms. Taylor, that you don't move. Not one inch."she stayed where she was "his voice is familiar too, must be other crewmen" thought Ashlee, "how is any of this possible?" an third unfamiliar face walks into the room and puts his broadsword to her back. They careful lead their hostages out of the room with Steve in front also with a sword to back. As they walked the floor sweeked Under their weight. As they continued down the corridor Ashlee noticed the sudden change of the walls."sure it's dark in the hallway, but,"she stared at the walls, " the walls looks like it was made of old wood instead of the smooth wallpapered wall from earlier. "She thought.
" come on," the sword press harder against her back. she hadn't realized that she had stopped to examine the walls. they started again though the hallway and went up the stairs to the deck that now look like it had been made in the 1600s. The deck was crowded with men and women of different shapes and size. she didn't recognized any of them but from what she had seen so far she knows that they have met.
"Davy Jones!" yelled the man that was holding Steve as a hostage, " we have some people you might actually care for compared to the others that we had ta kill." he said slipping into a British accent. the ship was silent. The ship swayed back and forth with the current their was still no movement from the crew Ashlee carefully look down to the deck boards. there was a puddle of liquid underneath feet. she couldn't tell what it was, she shivered, she wasn't sure if she wanted to know what it was. "Well if your not coming then i think its time we got the chance to know the lady a little better ." a soft chuckle came from the crew. Ashlee felt shear panic spread though her body.
" Wait!" bellowed another familiar voice from the staircase. there was a creek from the steps. every to face the stairwell. The captain finished coming up the steps. he still looked the same except for his clothing that look like something a pirate captain would have worn. "they don't have anything to do with this."
the man laughs very creepily and shakes his head in disappointment. he pulls his sword away from Steve's back and another crew-members sword immediately replaces it on Steve's throat before he could make any move. " they have everything to do with this!" he said point his sword at Ashlee and Steve as he was walking towards the captain. " But don't worry i won't kill them ," he gently puts the sword to the captain gut, "right-a-way, anyway. I'll save you the pain of watching that."he grab the captain's sword and hands it to one of the men while still staring the captain in the eyes.
" Davy, you have been captain of this ship for a long time, and we have been your crew for ," he breaks eye contact for a brief second as though to count the years he had been on the ship, " well almost just as long." he got closer to the captain, " so to find to my surprise that you had trusted only one of the from crew with this woman's secret mission, and it wasn't even your own deputy." from the look on his face he actually look like he was hurt with what the captain had done. they hear one of the men yell out in agreement. Ashlee guessed he had been the deputy." oh but you trusted the cook , so what's wrong with the rest of us!" he yelled to the crew. the crew yelled back in agreement," oh but good thing I had came to your door when I did so I could hear all of it and tell it to the rest of the crew." him and the captain were only four inches way from each other, that's when he shoves the cutlass into the captain's stomach. the captain falls to the ground covering his wound , " but I have to say I was disappointed you felt that way about us and because of that me and the crew feel like its time to get a new captain." the crew yelled again in agreement," now who should it be." he turns around and points the sword towards the man that Ashlee had decided who was the deputy," how about you Shurly." Shurly and the crew laugh. "no, well then, " he turns to his left< " how about you Bart you want to give it a go." Bart and the crew laugh again, "oh, yeah," he turns back to Davy " they voted me." he smiled creepily at the captain.
"George. you know the consequences. this the last warning." replied the captain very calmly.
" Does it look like i care." George grabs the captain's sword from the crewman he had original had handed it to, and with one swift movement he chops off Davy Jone's head, " no worst death than by your own weapon." said George wiping the sword on the captains lifeless corpse.
"NO!" Steve's screams. Steve shoves his elbow into the gut of the men holding him hostage. Ashlee does the same thing. " shoot them down!" yelled the new captain. Steve grabs Ashlee's hand and leads her to the side of the ship and they jump into the ocean.
