Capter 1

Winter p.o.v

My name is Winter O'Brian I am sixteen years old and today is my aptitude test. I get up and take a shower I get out of the shower and wrap a towel around my body. I put on a gray dress and put my hair into an Abnegation bun.

I get on the train and take a seat not caring to give it up like an Abnegation would. When I get to school I sit down next to my friend Beatrice and wait for my name to be called. Soon I hear Winter O'Brian and I get up and go into the test room. There is a women from Dauntless. I sit in the chair and she gives me something to drink. Soon my eye close into darkness.

I open my eyes and I see three plates in front of me. One with bread one with cheese and one with a knife. Then I hear a voice say choose. Why do I have to choose I ask. The voice comes back and says just choose. So I try to grab the knife but it disappeared before I could grab it. Then a dog comes out and starts running at me I just stand there because I know it won't hurt me this is just a simulation. When the dog gets to me I close my eyes and when I open them I see a puppy version of the dog. The I hear a little girl yell puppy. So the puppy changes back into a dog and charges at the little girl. So I run and tackle the dog and wake up back in the chair.

The women then tells me to go home and tell everyone you got sick. But I want to know what my results are I tell her. They were inconclusive she answers. What the test was supposed to tell me what to do. The test didn't work on you. What were my results. Abnegation, Erudite and Dauntless. Now go home she says.

I walk home and go into my room and think about what faction I'm going to choose. I'm not smart enough to go to Erudite. I not staying here in Abnegation. Dauntless might be were I go. It will be fun but hard. I'm up for that. 

Next day

I wake up take a shower and put on a gray ankle length dress and put my hair in a bun. And get on the train to the hub. When I get there we wait for Marcus to stop talking about faction before blood bullshit. Then the names start getting called. I zone them out until I hear Winter O'Brian. I get up and walk down to the were the bowls are already knowing my choice. I take the knife and slice my hand above the coals and let my blood fall. I then hear the Dauntless cheering and I walk over and sit next to Beatrice who had chose before me.

When the choosing ceremony is over the Dauntless start running down the stairs and outside. I hear the train coming and the Dauntless start climbing up  and jumping on the train. I grab the side of the train and pull myself in landing on someone. I look to see who it was it is a Candor boy. Hey stiff  you comfy. You get off of him and help him up. My names Winter. What do you want stiff and what makes you think you can talk to me.

We ride the train for awhile until the Dauntless start jumping off onto a roof. So I jump and land on my arm the gravel cutting it open. My name is Eric the only way into Dauntless is by jumping so who wants to go first. I do I say and go to the ledge. I jump and a slight scream escapes my mouth. I land on a next next thing I know two strong arms are taking me out of the net. Did you get pushed a guy ask. No I jumped I answer. What's your name he ask. Winter I answer. First jumper Winter.

Once everyone is down Four takes us to the pit the cafeteria and are dorms. Okay initiates training starts tomorrow go change and come to the dinning area for dinner. I go over to my bunk witch is next to Tris and Christina. I then take off my dress and hear Peter yell ooo the stiffs taking it off. You then flip him off and he acts offended. You put on the black tank top and black leather pants on and go to the dinning hall. When I get there I sit with Tris Christina Will and Al. After we eat Christina screams Tris Winter lets go shopping and get tattoos. So we go to the pit and go into the shops and get a crap ton of clothes (pic at top). Then we go get tattoos. I find a tattoo of a bird flying because it represents me flying away from my abusive past and starting a new one. I walk out of the tattoo parlor a go to the dorm the only person in there is Peter. He looks up when you walk in. Hey Winter can I talk to you he ask. Yeah what's wrong i ask worried. I'm sorry for how I have been treating you it's just I really like you he says. Peter I like you to and don't be sorry.  He then moves closer to you and kisses you and you kiss back. When you break apart you see Christina there with her mouth wide open. You him what she ask. Winter come with me she ask grabbing my arm dragging me out of the room. What was all of that about I ask. When did you and Peter becoming a thing she ask. Just now and whats your problem with it I asked annoyed. Winter he is nothing but trouble please don't do it. Christina if he hurts me once I won't go out with him. Want to see if he is a bad guy or it's just an act ok. Ok but if he hurts you he's going to pay. Bye Chris I tell her. I have to go find Tris now she says. I go back into the dorm and sit next to Peter. So tell me about yourself I ask. Well I'm from Candor I came to Dauntless because my Aunt abused me. Your aunt hit you I ask. He shakes his head no. And I figure out his Aunt sexually abused him. I hug him and say It's ok I'm here my parents abused me to not in the way you were but still abused. I cry into his shoulder while he rubs circles on my back. And let sleep overtake me. 

Okay how was this for my first chapter of this book. I will try to update regularly but no promises so baii.
