Here be boring necessary details:
West Summer High was your typical high school--run by nuns and wandered around by ghosts (it's not a school without the ghosts, right?), known for pricey items in the cafeteria and student protesters against tuition hike. The front building, located east of the National Road, was old. The windows were made of capiz and wood, the red paint coating the front gates were chipping, and it would look more like a residential place to anyone who looked at it, except it had been a school for as long as everyone could remember. The more educational-looking areas were behind this old, wooden structure—the cafeteria, a quadrangle that served as a basketball court, newly constructed buildings on the north and south, and a bridge overlooking the gardens on the east connecting these two. . .
I know, I know. As I said, boring. But I feel like I should at least try to introduce you to the home of the Lancers, since this is where most of the story would take place. The walls of West Summer High hold a lot of secrets it’s really a wonder it hasn’t collapsed with the weight of them yet.
