Sweatshirt// Jacob Sartorius

Chp.03

Linda's POV:
"I'll just have a spicy chicken burger with fries and a strawberry smoothie please," i told the cashier.

Apparently Jacob wanted to pay for my food. I don't know why but it was really sweet of him. When he said he would pay for me everyone oohed and awwed. But it wasn't  even their business

The rest of the group already ordered so it wouldnt take long. After a couple of minutes they came back with our food. I thanked her and Jacob grabbed the tray as we made our way towards the others. I could feel Jacob staring at me but i never looked at him. I just bit my lip and continued walking.

"There they are. We thought you guys ditched us to go and have sex," A tall blonde guy shouted.

The whole restaurant turned towards us. My face went from rosy red to cherry red.

"Oops, i didn't mean to say that aloud. Please return to your food," the same guy said.

I just shook that embarrassment off and sat next to Lili. Soon enough Jacob joined and sat next to me. I ignored the awkward tension between us and started to eat. After i finished my food i picked up the tray and threw my garbage out.

"So, what are your names?" Mark Asked.

"I'm Liliana but you can call me Lili!" She shouted in excitement.

"Im Roselyn but i prefer Rosy,"

"Im Emily,"

"Im Sherlyn,"

"Im Janette,"

"I'm Nicole, but i prefer Nikkie,"

"And Im Linda," i finished off.

At the corner of my eye i could see Jacob smiling and writing something on a notebook.

"Ok im Mark,"

"I'm Blake," the one that embarrassed me.

"Im Jake," the brunette.

"And i'm Jacob," he finished off.

"Aren't you guys from our school?" Nikkie asked.

"Yeah," Mark replied.

"Guys they are from the popular group," i clarified.

I could see that the rest were smiling while Jacob was turning red. After a while of talking we decided to leave.

"Where we headed to now?" Lili asked.

"How bout we go to a park?" Mark suggested.

"Yesss, imma invite Sami!" Lili squealed.

Emily, Rosy, Nikkie, and Jenette, had to leave cause it was getting late. Well at least the girls a guy's are even. After they left Lili called Sami, and Sami accepted to join us. After the call we walked towards the park Mark was telling us about. During the whole walk there Mark and Lili were gossiping, Sherlyn and Jake were chit chatting. Believe it or not Jacob and I were actually speaking. Poor Blake was left alone.

"Guys! Wait up! I cant run!" I heard someone shout. 

We turned around and saw Sami running towards us. Right as she was near us, she was about to collapse on the floor. Good thing Blake cached her.

"Sami are you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah i just ran so much, sorry i scared you," she replied.

"Thats ok. We are here!" Mark shouted as Lili squealed.

The park was cute. It had breathtaking trees with pink flowers growing on them. Then benches under the trees with vines growing on them. In the Center there was a park with monkey bars, slides, a rock climbing thing, and swing sets. The scenery was breathtaking.

I was taken out of my thoughts when i felt a warm hand grab onto mine.  I turned to look and saw it was Jacob's. He just stared at me and smiled blushing. Oh geez. I was blushing hardcore right now. Jacob lead me towards the swing sets and sat down. We just sat there swaying staring at each other holding hands as we heard the faint laughters of our friends. I wish i could stay in this moment forever.
