missing you; narry au one-shot [ alternative universe ]

Niall dialed Harry's number once again and listened carefully wanting Harry to answer so Niall could explain but once again all Niall got was his message bank but finally decided to leave a message.

"Haz, uh Harry I like, I miss you, a lot. I just want to hear your voice and god i sound creepy bu- I really want to explain, what you saw wasn't what you thought, please just- ugh I just I miss you and want to explain, please. please let me", He ended the call there not wanting to keep rambling and he didn't want to cry on the phone, actually he didn't want to cry at all.

Placing his phone on the counter Niall headed to his bedroom and lays down trying to get to sleep. He's been sleeping a lot lately trying not to think of reality and to escape everything that's happened lately but honestly it's hard because his dreams are full of nightmares and Harry.

Niall's eyes are closed and he's almost fully drifted to sleep but he is suddenly jolted awake when he heard the ringing of his phone, usually he would ignore his phone but the ringtone he hears makes him rush to the kitchen and place the phone against his ear because the ringtone was especially set for Harry.

"Hello", Niall's voice is thick with sleep and Harry can tell that, Harry feels slightly guilty for waking up Niall but honestly Niall doesn't mind as long as he gets to hear Harry's voice

"I uh, I got your message", Harry was close to tears because hearing his leprechauns voice for the first time in two months made him quite sad but he made sure Niall couldn't hear the sadness in his voice "and if you want we can meet at that cafe and you can tel- explain"

"I would love to, just when?", Niall could tell they were both nervous but he ignored that and he started feeling slightly giddy because he was finally going to see his Haz again.

"In about two hours, you do remember where the cafe is don't you", Harry cut himself off there knowing he was going to ramble but that he really shouldn't

"Course I do", Niall had the largest smile on his face and he was sure Harry could tell that "I'll meet you there"

"sure, uh bye", Niall didn't have enough time to say goodbye because Harry had already hung up but Niall didn't mind he was excited to finally see Harry again

Rushing up to his room Niall picked out some sweats and a loose tank top placing them on his bed as he headed to the shower so he doesn't stink or look terrible when he sees Harry again.

Harry though still held his phone in his hands terrified to see Niall again because really he doesn't want his heart to break again. What he saw that day he left looked exactly what he thought and he really doesn't want Niall lying to him because one of the most important things of a relationship is trust and Harry doesn't know whether to still trust Niall or not.

While in the shower Niall's face slightly falls as he washes his hair because again all he can picture is the day Harry left and it really isn't what Harry thought he saw, Niall promised himself and Harry to never lie or cheat and he hasn't done either nor does he plan on doing any of those.

Finishing up in the shower Niall steps out wrapping a towel around himself and walking into his room slipping on his clothes and slightly drying his hair so it isn't fully wet but just slightly damp. Walking out of his room Niall sat down at the table looking up at the clock seeing that he still had an hour and a half till he has to get there.

Looking around the room Niall tried to find something to do so he wouldn't sit and be bored while worrying his head off. Looking in the corner he finds some paper and pens sitting on the corner desk, walking over to the desk he sits down a thinks of what to do when he suddenly thinks of a great idea.
