Next to God, there is nothing more important than family and true friends in your life. Try for a moment, to imagine life without a single family member or buddy to converse with during good times and bad, or to share your most amazing discoveries and hard-earned achievements. How hollow would those things feel without someone special by your side?
I know around the holidays, you may mumble under your breath and wish that you had some time to yourself without the complications that often accompany a family reunion. But if you took the time to think about it, many of those same irritating people are the ones you'd want most to surround you on your death bed because they are the ones who know you most and hold you dearly.
Sometimes, we let our careers, hobbies, or other activities consume our precious time and keep us from those we love. For your sake and theirs, it's important that we reflect on our time management to make sure that we include our most beloved as part of each and every day we're together.
What is the purpose of life, if it doesn't including sharing it with those who love us most? Hug them tight and kiss them as if tomorrow may not come.
