Chapter one bloody awakening

"The time is right sister, shall we?" A males voice whispered to a female that stood in front of him.She took a slow, deep breath in.Her brother annoyed her a lot sometimes. They stood in the shadows watching a group of boys laugh as they walked toward their truck to unload their camping equipment.

"No brother, the moon isn't up yet.Plus it has only starting to become dusk, we must be patient." She murmured back, her dark hair falling around her shoulders. Her fair pale skin looked even more so with her hair down. She usually preferred her hair short, but she hadn't been to a salon in the longest of times, and forgotten how it was like.

It has been at least twenty years since she has been in the real world.Being a vampire usually didn't help.She was turned twenty summers ago when she had her hair cut, but now she looked like a fifteen year old girl with long long hair. This was their forest, and they didn't really like trespassers.Usually they would feed off the animals, but since these young boys have come and where camping so close to their cave they might as well go and eat.

They spied on the boys a little longer.

"Hey Philip, can you help me put up the tent?" Asked Luke he had the tent laid out, and had the poles in his hands.Philip walked over with shaggy black hair falling into his dark emerald eyes. He looked the most like a football player out of the group. He had an awkward smile sewn on his lips.

"Sure, where do you want me?" He asked Luke.Luke pointed him to the opposite side, telling him what to do. Jarred and Jeffrey the twins unloaded the rest of the pickup, setting the food up where they had a plastic fold out table.

The two other boys they were talk about something, but far away from everyone so no one could hear their conversation.

"So tonight, is going to be a little exciting for you since you turned sixteen last month.After tonight is a full moon, and you will finally become a full member of the pack, Todd." Said the big-bear like boy.

"Thanks, Everette, I can't wait to understand what it is like to finally change." Todd smiled at Everette.He was like a little brother to Everette. Todd was an awkward boy who liked to read, but also play sports.He could run very fast for the weight he was.He was the size of a toothpick compared to most of his friends. Then again, Todd was the youngest out of them, but they treated him like family all the same.

Everette was the son of an Alpha, and was starting his own pack with the boys he had brought along on the camping trip. He had a good reason too, but he would reveal it to them in due time.

After everything was set up, Everette started the fire before plopping down in his big red chair with Todd to his right and Luke to the left.

The moon was climbing and everyone was feeling the effect of the moon.Their sight sharpened to the point where they could see everything to every last detail in the surrounding area.Smell everything, and hear everything. Everette was more experienced than all of them being the oldest at twenty-one.He knew what it felt like for the wolf deep in your gut claw up at the surface.

Todd was squirming in his chair, he longed to be like Everette calm and collective.He didn't really look like he needed to rip off his skin and scream on the top of his lungs for life. Suddenly a young woman came out from the bushes, she looked tired, her clothes dirty, her long hair a mess, her face covered in dirt, and she couldn't breath.

Jeffrey growled at her, Todd thought it was because of his wolf, but it was something else... Something that deep down him and his wolf hated more than anything. Jarred's growl soon bubbled to the surface, their eyes yellow and narrowed. The twins were both growling now, Luke sniffed the air, his eyes turned from his blue to yellow like the twins.
