~~~~Felix's POV~~~~
I wake up with a heavy ache in the back of my neck and try rubbing away the pain. I stretch my arms and wings while yawning. I looked around the room with groggy eyes. I smile remembering last night as well as me escaping. I look out a window and see the sun was just starting to come up. The cows were walking around and seemed to be lining up against the fences. They must be waiting for Ken to come give them breakfast. As I'm sitting there a police car with a white van following it pulls up. I see two policemen get out of the cop car and walk over to the door. They bang on it and I instantly jump up and run upstairs to hide... I hear groans of annoyance and hear the police knock again. "Coming!" I hear Ken yell in annoyance. The door opens and I hear talking. I have sharp hearing so I heard every word. "Sir we are going to every house in the county to check on the citizens. A patient from a local mental institute escaped last night and we are told he might have ran this way. Here is what he looks like." I here paper rustling then silence. Ken please don't say yes... "Hmm nah I haven't seen him around. But I wasn't aware there was a institute around here." Ken said making small talk. "Well may we check your home to make sure he hasn't broken in and hidden while you and your friends were sleeping?" a different officer asked. Oh shit! No! No! "Sure! I have nothing to hide." Ken said. I could hear the change in his voice. I could tell he was trying hard to keep up his lie. I ran and hid in a room to my left. It seemed like a closet with lots of boxes in it. I managed to squeeze through and hid behind all the boxes and some clothes.
~~~Ken's POV... AGAIN~~~
Me and the gang sat nervously in the living room while the police searched around for Felix. "Ken what were you thinking!?" Minx whispered at me furiously. "I couldn't say no! They would get suspicious!" I whispered back. Cry was twiddling his thumbs nervously. We heard the officers walking around upstairs. Finally the tension went away when the officers came back down to us. "Everything seems I'm order here. Please keep an eye open for this man. He is deemed violent and will attack." the blonde officer said. We all nodded and said goodbye to them. We all watched the vehicles leave, once they were gone I let out a shaky breath. "Felix you can stop hiding now." I shouted. I hear a door open and close from upstairs and Felix appears with a sly smirk on his face. "Dude where were you hiding?" Russ asked confused. "In a storage closet." Felix said sitting down on the couch. "Felix... why do they want you back so bad?" I asked annoyed at the thought of me harboring a fugitive. "Look at me! Why else would those idiot scientists want me back!?" Felix laughed stretching his wings. I chuckled at my stupid question. I looked out the window to see the cows waiting for breakfast. "I gotta feed the cows now. Anyone wanna come with?" I asked walking to the front door. "I can't come... The shadow will follow me! You must close that door!" Cry said causing Minx to burst into a fit of hysterical laughter. Felix tried to hold back his laughter but failed. " OH NO ITS HERE!" Cry yelled causing Minx to lay on the floor gasping for breath. Russ was fanning his face trying to make himself cool down from laughing so hard. Felix was walking outside and trying to catch his breath as well. I smiled and shook my head. I slipped my shoes on and Felix went running back in the house. I heard a scream and a crash. Damn my friends are stupid sometimes but I'm usually the worse. After I got all the animals fed I walked back to the house. When I got up on the porch I heard the thumping of music and lots of laughing. I opened the door and immediately went to the living room. I got a big surprise. The song 'Grind on me' was playing and Felix and Cry were grinding against each other and acting like they were in a club. "Turn up!" I hear Cry yell causing yet another chorus of laughter. "Oh Cry you look so sexy tonight." Felix said and playfully ran his hands down the top of Cry's thighs. "Hey hey! No touchy Angel Boy!" Cry said running and sitting on a chair. Felix just cackled madly. Tears were beeding his eyes from such hard laughter. "What is my house a club now?" I asked laughing at the display I was shown moments before. "YES!" Red yelled and her and Russ began dancing together. Scott joined in along with Minx. Cry and Felix joined back in as well. I had no choice but to dance so I pulled my bear hat on and joined the group. We dance like that for about an hour then Felix's stomach growled. Dang always hungry... We piled into the kitchen and started making random things. Felix kept torturing Cry and we just laughed. Cry kept his face uncovered when with us so he could see the blush on his face. "Felix quit pestering Cry." I said like a father figure. "Uuuuh. No" Felix said tickling Cry's ear. Cry made a noise of annoyance and slapped the hand away. They started poking each other and then Felix tackled Cry out of his chair and they started wrestling on the kitchen floor. They knocked the kitchen table and it shuddered. Felix finally let Cry go and when Cry was going to put his plate in the sink Felix smacked him in the face with back of his left wing. Everyone laughed at the two's foolishness and eventually finally finished breakfast. We cleaned up and went back to the living room to play more games. Suddenly the white van from before pulled in again and two men in white coats were walking up to my door. I quickly went to the door and opened it before they could even knock. "I told you he wasn't here." I said angrily. "Well you wouldn't mind us double checking then would you?" the man in the glasses said trying to push past me. "Don't let them in.." I turn to see Felix standing in the hallway and glaring at the man in the glasses. "Ah! Felix! We have finally found you!" the man said clapping his hands together and faking joy. He pushed past me along with the other person. "HEY! You can't just walk up in here!" Russ said walking up to the men. The bigger man suddenly grabs Russ' shirt and threw him back. "Hey! Wha-" I was about to say when the big man pointed a gun at my head. "Now Felix you don't want Gus here to hurt your new friends do you? Now calmly come back with us and no harm will come to them." the man in the glasses said.
~~~Felix's POV.. WARING VIOLENCE AND CURSING IN THIS POINT OF VIEW..~~~
I glared at Dr. Conners. The man who locked me up, beat me, and as well experimented on me was trying to take me back. Hell no! "Like hell I'll go back!" I yelled. Dr. Conners gave me a evil smile. "Oh? Then maybe this will persuade you." Conners said pulling a syringe filled with sedation medicine from his pocket. My breathing hitched and I grew fearful. I took a step back and prepared to defend myself. "Oh no this isn't what you think it is at all! This is a new strand of virus that I needed tested. But wait my subject ran away before it could be tested! Maybe Mr. Morrison would like to test it for me?" Dr. Conners said threatening to inject this possibly killer virus into Ken. "Don't you fucking dare!" I growled stepping forward. The doctor chuckled. "Oh Felix you don't scare me. You've tried your best to scare me for the past many years but never succeeded." I grit my teeth and let out another growl. Not worrying about the shot any longer I pounced on Dr. Conners and tried ripping his throat out. I knew my eyes had already turned red and that my fangs grew out. I used my short claws to attempt scratching Dr. Conners' eyes out. I then picked Dr. Conners up and threw him out the front door. This also caused Gus to be thrown out the door. He dropped his gun and Ken quickly swiped it and pointed at them. I brushed past Ken and stood in front if the two men growling. I stretched my wings out and up in an attempt to shield my friends. I heard Dr. Conners start laughing and Gus helped him to his feet. "What are you laughing at?!" I screamed. "Oh Felix we will get you back soon enough. Because I managed to get the virus into your blood stream. Your friends will have to bring you back to us to save you life. That virus will take its course and I'm the only person that knows the cure! I already knew that virus was deadly and could kill! You have exactly two weeks to come back or you WILL die." Dr. Conners said cackling madly. I looked down at my left thigh to see the syringe stuck in it. I yanked it out and Dr. Conners cackled more! I instantly felt very weak and sick. "Here is my number Felix's friends whenever you are ready call me!" Dr. Conners yelled while dropping a card and getting into the van. I stumbled around and my vision began to blur. I heard echoing foot steps and got tunnel vision. Felix ix ix ix ix ix ix..." I heard my name echo loudly and Ken came into view right when I passed out.... Why can't I just be happy and have a life?!
~~~ I don't think this story is going to be very very long but I thought it would be a fun idea and began writing! If you like it so far please let me know! And for those wanting updates for 'The Best Friend' updates will be slow because I don't have much inspiration for that story and no ideas! I also do not own anything that has been mentioned in this story! Anyways bye guys! BAHIIIIIIII!!!~~~
