- Chapter 2.

"Vic?"

I didn't know if I wanted to run up and hug him, or if I should just ignore him, or what I should even do?

"Wow, oh my gosh, I can't believe you go to school here. Why didn't you tell me?" Vic walked over and hugged me. I panicked, and just hugged Vic back. I surprisingly didn't want Vic to let me go.

"I guess it just slipped my mind. Why didn't you tell me you were going to school here?" I repeated Vic's question.

"I don't know? And, you said this place was hell.. this is actually a pretty great highschool." Vic smiled. Him and that damn smile.

I laughed at Vic's comment on our school, "Oh, trust me hun, you'll find out later on that this school is hell."

"Everyone find a seat, we need to get started right away." Mrs. Butler announced.

Vic and I obviously sat next to each other. People kind of stared at us, so I kind of just gave a whatever look back at them.

"So, some of you are new to this class, and some are you are returners. What I'm going to do is call on each of you one by one and I want to hear how your voice sounds. This way we can all see what each of us sound like. When I call your name, you will come to the front of the class, tell me a song to play and you have to sing along with the song you choose. Got it?" Mrs. Butler explained, and I couldn't say I was excited, because that would be an understatement. I love singing and letting people hear my voice. I don't really mean to be cocky, but I thought I was pretty decent at singing.

"Mr. Victor Fuentes, you're up first." Mrs. Butler chirped. "Glad to know you're brave enough to be in Choir, most guys your age normally think it's lame."

"Can you play Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars, please?" Vic stated.

Mrs. Butler hurried to play the song to hear Vic sing. In my honest opinion, I didn't think Vic was going to really achieve at singing, but we can all hope for the best. But, it was also good to know this boy had some taste with his music.

Once the song got to the chorus, Vic began to sing.

I was stunned at Vic's voice. His voice was seriously angelic. I could listen to his voice all day.

Once he stopped singing, everyone started clapping like crazy.

"Wow, Victor, you sure do have one incredible voice." Mrs. Butler smiled.

Vic's POV —

"Diana, you're finally up to sing." Mrs. Butler called out Diana's name.

I was ready to hear her voice. Know if she really could sing or not. I'm not doubting her at all, but I'm just saying.

"Y'know, I was planning this before you called Vic, but I would also like to sing Just The Way You Are." Diana smiled.

Her smile was actually very adorable. A nice smile, full of braces. In my honest opinion, it was cute.

Diana started singing at the same moment I did when I was up to sing.
