The beast was ugly and frightening. Imagine a black wolf with two coloured eyes, one red and one glowing green. But the green eyes had no pupil. Its tail was really thick and fluffy, but half way in to the tail it got thinned with scales and then the tail turned into a snake. Around its head was orange fluff and hair that stuck out, like a lion. Two horns stuck out of its head, like a bull’s, but way larger. Purple tentacles stuck out its body, four on each side like an octopus and a spider. Its teeth were like razors, and had two large fangs that stuck out its top lip and reached to the chin. Now just imagine that 10 times bigger. I grinned as I saw old scars all over its body. I removed Chi-Ken from its holder quickly as it charged at me and I quickly dodged by jumping up. This beast was incredibly fast for its heavy body. I brought Chi-Ken down onto the beast’s head but it disappeared and I cussed under my breath as I spun around in the air to look at the beast above me. His tail/snake hissed at me as it tried to bit me but when I dodged in mid-air, he rather just settled for hitting me and sending me down to the ground. I quickly got up and did my necessary hand seals with only my left hand, my right hand occupying my katana.
“Chi-Shihaisuru.” I mumbled under my breathe and watched as the beast’s eyes narrowed at me curiously. I raised my katana to strike but a voice interrupted me.
“So youthful!” I stopped and turned to look at Gai. He was leaning against the gate that surrounded the training area.
“Gai…” I mumbled as I lowered my sword, regretting it as the beast attacked me with its horns. I raised my left arm and caught the horn in my hand but the force sent a vibration though my body and I accidently let go of my katana. Supid Gai… So I didn’t reach for my sword like any idiot would do, because that would leave you open and the enemy would have a clear shot. Instead I used my right hand to catch the other horn and went against it, fighting with only physical strength now. I used chakra on my feet to keep me in place as I pushed forward. But I did forget two things about the best. Its tentacles…and the snake. The tentacles tried to wrap around me but I did a little spring and swung my body upwards, still holding onto the horns. I landed on its head and it growled at me while trying to shake me off. But of course this thing was massive so it was kind of hard but with chakra holding me up, I would be ok. So after I was sure I wouldn’t fall of easy, I looked to Gai who was watching with amusement.
“You needed me?” I asked curiously.
“Just wanted to let you know we have a mission. Tomorrow, 5AM, at the Gates. Ha ha, and then you can show everyone how youthful you’ve become!” He said, holding the thumbs up, making me sweatdrop before focusing on the beast that’s still trying to shake me off.
“Well I guess it’s time to go rest up, I’ll play with you again, Momo.” I said, patting its head. Yeah… I needed a name for him so it’s Momo! I jumped off him and he tried to charge but I closed the gate fast enough that he was locked in the training ground once again. Gai seemed to have disappeared…I ran home to my apartment where I rested up until the next morning.
I was the first one there but I hid in the trees until everyone was there. Neji and TenTen changed outfits but Lee only added his chunin vest. Neji also grew his hair…hm. I jumped down and stood behind them, my chakra hidden so they didn’t notice me. But it seems only Gai noticed and smiled. He pointed to the gate.
“Alright team! Head out!” He yelled and started marching, leaving the rest with confused glans.
“But what about Kaiya-chan?” Lee asked and Gai stopped. He turned to them with his hand on his chin and chuckled.
“Well you see Lee, she’s already here! You all just didn’t notice her.” Lee blinked in confusion before turning to look where Gai looked at. His eyes grew wide and his mouth dropped. Neji turned as well and stared at me in confusion.
“K-kaiya-chan!” Lee yelled with tears as he ran to me and engulfed me in a hug. “It’s really you!”
“Yes, yes, now let GO!” I yelled and he jumped away.
“Alright team! Let’s go! We have to locate the Akatsuki base!” I blinked in surprise.
“Why?” Gai then turned serious.
“Gaara of the Sand, the Kazekage and the Shukaku’s jinjuriki was captured. Team Kakashi is going to the Sand Village to help out there while we locate the base. It’ll be easier that way later on.” We all nodded before hurrying out. This was a serious matter, and it evolved the Akatsuki… the people who I stayed with for a month, my brother and sister-in-law is there, the people who want to revive the Ten-Tails to rule over world, which they think will cause peace. They are idiots…not only is their ambition a total fail, you can’t create peace with world domination, but their plan will anyway fail. Because that’s not the way to revive the Ten-Tails….
I would like to add that I changed Team Gai's mission a little. It wasn't to locate the Akatsuki base, it was to help the Sand (the same mission as Team Kakashi) and they also only setted out AFTER Team Kakashi left, they went before. I'm changing it a bit, as well as shinobi history. You'll find out soon
