Three weeks later

"Hey Law-ya" Melissa said while walking into the orphanage library. "Hello Melissa how are you" Law asked without looking up from his book. "Looking for something to do" Melissa replied while looking through the shelf for a book. When she found what she was looking for she walked over to Law and sat down and lifted up his book a bit to see the title. "I didn't take you for someone who likes medical stuff" Melissa said while opening up her book to the page she was on. "Didn't take you for someone who likes geographical zones" Law replied while pointing to the book Melissa had. "Yeah guess everyone thought I would be reading something else" Melissa replied giggling. "No when I first saw you I thought you would read something like what your reading now" Law said not looking up from his book. "Aww~ thanks Law-ya" Melissa said while putting up her book. "Oh one more thing Law-ya when's your birthday" Melissa asked. "October 6th" Law said while glancing up from his book. "Cool thanks" Melisa said while running out the door.

Three months later

"Ok guys quietly we have to do this quietly or he might get subspecies and come look for us" Melissa said while guiding the three children who where handling a strawberry shortcake for the surprise party for Law. "Set it down gently, ok there everything's set Shi-ya could you go get Law-ya please" Melissa said while getting everyone in place. "Okay leave it ta me nee-Chan" Shi said while running out the door. "Law-kun, nee-Chan wants to see you" Shi said while walking into the orphanage library. "Ok I'm coming just let me put this book up" Law replied while closing the book he was reading and putting it back. "Ok I'm ready lead the way" Law said while walking to Shi. "Right follow me" said Shi while walking out the library. "So what does she want to talk about" Law asked while walking to the room. "You'll see" was the only thing Shi said.

Five minutes later

"Ok Law-kun you can go in first" said Shi while pointing to the door. "Ok I'm guessing she's in her" Law said while opening the door. Law walked to the middle of the room when Shi closed the door and turned on the light. "Surprise" everyone shouted to Law. "What's all this" Law questions. "Well remember three months ago I asked you your birthday well I wanted to know when so I could plan it" Melissa replied laughing at Law's expression. "You guys didn't have to do this" Law said while trying not cry. "We wanted to your our friend and- wait are you crying" Melissa asked walking up to to the now thirteen year old boy. "I-its j-just tha-at no ones do-ne this f-for me" Law said while sobbing. Melissa comes up to Law and gives him a hug which causes Law to sob harder "it's okay let it all out" Melissa said not caring that her back is getting wet by Law's tears. After a few minutes of crying both children pull away from the hug. "Now come on now no more crying okay"Melissa said while holding onto Law's shoulders. "Okay" Law said while wiping his tears. " alright now on to the party" Melissa said while making the biggest smile she could make.

After the party it was time for everyone to go to bed. Which left Melissa, Bepo, and Law to clean up. "You don't have to clean too Law-ya" Melissa said while wiping down one of the tables. "It's okay Melissa it's the least I could do for you" Law replied while sweeping the confetti into the pan Bepo was holding. "Awww~ that's sweet Law-ya" Melissa said while finishing up. "N-no r-really it's no t-trouble at all" Law said with a pink dust covering his cheeks. 'Glad that my hat is shading my face from them' Law thought while putting up the broom. After cleaning up they started to head to bed but before Melissa reached the door handle "how come I haven't seen this so called caretaker" Law asked. Both Melissa and Bepo were surprised by this. "She left" Melissa answered telling the truth while walking in but before law could he was held back by Bepo "I don't care if Melissa considers you a friend if you hurt her in any way physically and/or mentality I will not stop until you felt the same hell and when your spirit breaks I.will.break.you" Bepo threatens. Law knew he meant every word but what scared him the most is the one thought in his mind before going into deep slumber was
