Lying on the sea bed, all forlorn and forgotten
Picking at my on sorrows, counting them one by one
Can someone hear me?
Can someone see me?
I am waiting for an extending hand
Pulling me up through the water debris
Someone to call my name, someone to pull me close
Someone to feel my sorrow, someone to see my pain
I plead n plead till I can’t breath
And I realize that all that’s missing is my breath
A breath is all that I might need
A caring hand is all that I might want
Don’t let me drift alone on the sea bed
All tangled in the forgotten debris that is left
Because I am not part of that what’s left behind
I am soul wanting to be dragged to life
