Chapter 1

Waking up

Karkat's P.O.V

I wake up, everything is warm, and i feel really rested, unnatural and rare ever since the last time I slept in my sopor.. still, I sit up and stretch, my clothing feeling smooth, cool and comfortable against my skin and the sheets draped over me gently. I rub my eyes and look around before almost screaming. I was definitely not in my room. I was surely not in my clothing and I could assure you I was NOT on the meteor. At least, not anymore. I take in a deep breath before taking in my surroundings with more detail. The room was quite big, and spacious with the walls a dark maroon color, a window on the far left wall letting in sunlight, which I don't think was the kind that could hurt me. It seemed more like the human sunlight the humans always spoke of. The light filled the room but near the four post bed I was in it seemed to dim out into an almost ashy yellow. Still enough light to see wine red silk sheets over my grey figure with sleeping garments of the same tone and material.

So much red.. is this a damn joke?! My skin sure feels softer and my hair is much more fluffy, most of my scars are gone and I had the faintest suspicion my dark bags where gone. I felt like a different person. And I probably looked like a different person too. I did not like that. I shakily stood up, my feet slipping easily into two felt slippers at the side of the bed and walked over to a small bedside table. On it sat a clean, white note. On it it read:

:33< guess who?! Yep it's meow, Nepeta! When you wake up Karkitty, I sure hope you're not angry at me. I think you're accidentally stuck in one of my stories and the only way out is to complete most of the story line. I won't tell you all of it, cause that's not fair for me or you but I will tell you this,
-it's a love story
-you're a prince
-no one knows your blood color
-you have to somehow fall for one of your suitors and get married
-you *MIGHT* have to pail.
-it's you and another guy

That's all I actually know, well, what I remember. I hope you see I dropped all my cat puns to be very serious with you. That is all!
*AC pounces away from her desk, leaving a very conflicted Karkat behind*
