I felt the cool Alaskan air pierce my skin as I ran. Faster than I've ever ran before, stopping not a thought that existed, until I saw him. He was standing out in the middle of the snow covered Hills, and he appeared to me growling at something. I turned to my wolf, and trotted silently over to a hill not far from him. I slowly came out and let out a low growl, he stood straight and slowly turned around. I almost gasped in disbelief, his eyes were two beautiful shades of pastel green and pastel blue. Two different colored eyes that almost hid behind his brown curly mop of hair that flipped to one side. His nose and cheeks sprinkled with freckles, and his skin the perfect shade of dusted pink. My heart skipped a beat. The wolf inside me spoke the words "mate" and I agreed with him. I turned slowly back human and stood there staring into his beautiful eyes, both having their own color and story. He giggled a bit and asked me "what pack are you in" and I was taken aback, is he a wolf too. "The blue crescent pack" I lied, my words full pain. He laughed and said "well isn't that nice, a little wolf in my territory" I sniffed the air, there was no scent of other wolves. He let out a growl and turned himself. He was a perfect shade of pale smoke, with both his eyes popping and I swear I say him smirk. I sighed and turned again ready to leave because I knew where this was going, he was going to challenge me, but I couldn't bring myself to hurt someone. Not again, and not now. I shook the thought out of my head and began walking back to the great vast hills of snowy powder. I hear a whimper and turn around to see him following me. I slowly start walking back and realize, he was alone which meant he was a rouge like me. He didn't run away, he wasn't kicked out, no he was just like me.
Born pack less.
