Chapter 1

 Savanah's POV

I woke up from the faint 'beeping' of my alarm clock, and the sun rays that crept in from my window. I jumped out of my bed lazily and went straight to the restroom to wash my face and to wake my spirit up.

After washing my face I decided to cook for my breakfast. Well, I'm not like those women who takes a bath first then cook and eat. What's the point of bathing when you got yourself stink again before leaving the house?

I was indulging myself with the breakfast I made when my phone starts ringing. I look at my clock, 5:30 am. Who would call at me at this hour? It's still early. I shrug then grab my phone and answered the call without even looking at the caller I.D.

"Hello?"  I greeted while eating my food.

"That's very unlady-like Savanah."  The caller dismissed my greeting instead scolded me. I smirked at his remark.

"Huh? Who are you anyway to tell me what's lady-like or not?"  I asked teasingly.

"Tsk! I am the one and only Lia Franks. The one an----"

"Nah-uh! Last time I check your mother wrote Liam Franks in your birth certificate and checked the male gender."  I told him not letting him to finish his sentence. I smirk at my remarks.

I heard him groan and cursed me. I laughed at his attitude.  "Hold it there Lia!"  I tried holding my laugh but no to avail.

"Done laughing now Sav?"  he asked irritated.

"Yes. Yes. I'm good."  I cleard my throat and start to speak again  "What made you to call me at this hour?"

"Oh! Right! Don't forget you still have a meeting with Mr. Gray-slash-the love of your life and at 6:45 am."

I almost stumble when I stood up.  "Shoot!! I forgot about it! Okay, thanks for reminding me anyway but bye!"  I ended the call without even letting him say a word.

I grab my towel and went straight to the bathroom. Oh! Btw, I'm Savanah Autumn Stein, 24 and currently working at Gray Incorporated. Liam "a.k.a Lia" Franks is my gay bestfriend-slash-workmate. Enough with it I'm getting late.

"Your 10 minutes late Savanah."  The moment I entred the conference room I was welcomed with it.

I bowed down ashamed that I'm late again. Yes, again. I always get late, thank goodness I wasn't fired of being late  "I'm sorry Mr. Gray. I forgot about the meeting."

I was the one assigned to show them the reports on our department so I gave them the folders where my reports are, and started to explain. I'm in the middle of explaining and I am a little distracted of Mr. Gray's stares. I looked down at what I'm wearing and my jaws almost dropped. I quickly composed myself. I mentaly sighed, he will surely scold me.

The meeting was successful. I was left in the room together with Mr. Gray. I was about to leave when I felt his arms snaked around my waist. Oh God! I so love those tingles.

"Leaving already Ms. Stein?"  his voice made me shiver and a moan escaped from my lips. God! This man is killing me. I felt his grip tighted and he started to inhale my scent.

"Mr. Gray I believe we are at work."   thank goodness I didn't stutter.

"Enough with the formalities Sav. I missed you."  I giggled at his sentence. I faced him and cupped his cheek, and gave him a peck. I looked at his eyes and I frowned.

"Your eyes is doing it again! It's black! I want the brown ones."  then I pout. I don't know, but his eyes DOES change color. Everytime I tell him about this he would just dismissed it. He wouldn't believe me.

He huged me again and buried his face at my neck inhaling my scent. He always does this I don't even know why, however I find it cute. I giggle.

"7 pm. I'll fetch you in your condo."  he murmured against my neck.

"A date?"  I asked. He simply nodded at me.  "alright I'll wait for 'ya."

Ryder Luis Gray is...well...obviously my boyfriend. I know even if we don't tell it to others I know they could sense there is 'something' with the both of us. It is completely obvious on how he would treat me. And some people would see us going home together.

"Now Ry, could you please let go of me now. I still need to work."  I tried to get his arms off me, but it would get tighter everytime I'll do it.

"Now, now dear Savanah, what would I do with you? Wearing this kind of dresses. Are you trying to seduce me little temptress?"  his voice was husky. I think he's the one seducing me.   "Your smell is so intoxciating, my love."  he added, making his voice more huskier.

"O-of course not! I was in a hurry, I-I didn't notice I p-picked this dress! And it isn't quite revealing!!"  I protested. Trying to dismissed his voice and act.

He chuckled,   "I believe you still have a work. See you later then."   then he kissed my forehead.

"Yea. See you later."  I went out and everyone is staring at me. Probably thinking what took me long to get out of that room with Ryder. Oh, Jesus! I just hope they didn't think we're doing the nasty!!
