Christmas Present

If Erza will have a choice of present for this coming Christmas. She will definitely choose to have Jellal beside her. And she mean that he's not a fugitive anymore, that the Magic Council would be generous enough to set Jellal free. And that would be a present that Erza will be forever grateful.

Everyone in Fairy Tail knows how much Erza cared Jellal more than anyone else, except of course Fairy Tail which she considered as her very own family. And she will always be worried of Jellal because most of the time she doesn't know where he is. She's not aware of anything that is happening to him. If he is safe and sounds or if he is in pain and danger.

That morning, Erza came in the guild and saw Natsu and Gray fighting again. Her brow furrows and with a dark aura she walk towards them. Erza grab the neck of the two idiot but having second thought on smashing their heads. Afterall Christmas is near. In very dangerous and authoritative voice she ask them.

"Are you fighting?"

The two shivers realizing it was Erza who grab them. And Natsu before knowing who it is attacked Erza but sent flying with just a hand. Gray immediately answered Erza that they were just having fun. He almost run to Natsu and help him stand up. The boys are giving each other a menacing look. Erza turn her back at them and walk towards the bar where Mira is smiling sweetly at her.

"Here's your strawberry cake, Erza." Mira serve once Erza is seated.

The redhead who loves strawberry cake murmured a thanks to the whitehead. She darted her eyes to the mouthwatering and delightfully delicious sweet in front of her. She pick up the fork and take a bite of the sinful treat. The heavenly taste made her close her eyes. Which is a very wrong decision she made.

The moment Erza open her eyes to enjoy more of her strawberry cake, someone or let say a 'man' knock her cake to the ground. Erza's eyes widen in disbelief and snarl the 'man' who cause her favorite treat smash in her feet. Then she get up from her set and look around with a deadly eyes to see who caused the ruckus. The three, Gajeel, Natsu and Gray automatically stop their fight the moment they heard the clanking of Erza's sword.

Mirajane came in rescue by offering Erza another slice of her favorite treat. The three are thankful to Mira for her aid but when they notice the look of her face, they cringed. They almost know that Mira will be asking something in return for the favor. And it must be something to do with her matchmaking scheme. Realizing this, the three run outside leaving the guild hall in peace and Erza in her strawberry cake.

While eating her cake, Erza also thinking the present she have to buy for her friends. But in a very deep corner of her mind and heart she was deciding what should be the best present for that certain blue haired man. She just can't voice it out to the others. Though she can bet that Mira has an idea with that creepy look she is giving to her.

"So, have you decided what to give for Jellal?" Mira who can hold her curiosity anymore, asked. No one can get away with Mira's matchmaking scheme esp if it involves her favorite couple. And obviously Jellal and Erza are one of the many.

"E-ehh?" Erza uncomfortably murmured, face slowly turning red. "Nothing. Beside, I'm not even sure if he can pass by here on Christmas." Erza answered a little bit nervous.

"I'm sure he will. He won't let Christmas end without seeing you, Erza." Mira smiled knowingly, as if she knows something Erza don't.

Erza stared at the barmaid intently, carefully studying her under her eyes. Mira just smiled at her innocently. Erza groaned. Mira really knew something and she won't tell Erza about it.
