Ch 19; Don't be afraid to show your emotion

The sound of birds woke me up. 

Well, today is the day. The day when I'm taking my seven years old little cousin to a CD signing. She's been so excited for it since my mom bought her the tickets for her birthday. 

I finally found all my needed strenght to get out of my warm bed. I did my bee line to the bathroom and took a quick shower. Twenty minutes late I was putting my outfit on and then combing trough my hair and braiding it on my side. 

I was just getting out of my bathroom when Emma came bouncing and smiling like an idiot. She came running into me and I picked her up. 

"Where's my favourite girl!?" I said while twirling her around. Her little pink dress was flying around us and a smile wasn't coming of her face.

"Are you ready Ellie, couse I am! C'mon we are gonna be late and I-"

She was already pulling me down the stairs and to the kitchen when I stopped her.

"Heey Emm, the signing is in two hours. Calm down. Let's eat something yeah?"

Hour and a half later, we were in front of a mall where hunderts of girls were already waiting. 

Emma and I got into the mall and waited for 40 minutes when five boys finally got behing the table and started smiling and waving. The line started to move as the girls became louder.

Emma and I were at the very end of the line, and she was so excited I didn't think I could contain her any longer. We were just talking, basically me, about random things when, two hours later, six girls were in front of us. 

First to our side was Zayn, next to him Liam, Niall, Louis and then finally my Harold. They were all smiling so brightly while signing all those CDs.

Finally, our turn came and Emma was hapilly chatting with the boys when I stole a glance at Harry. He was smiling but it wasn't his real smile I used to see in videos Emma made me look trough with her. His smile was forced. 

That's when I stood in front of him and his bright green eyes found my dark brown ones.

"You don't need to always look happy, you know. You are human as well. You have emotions and we except them. Don't be afraid to show how you really feel."

"What's your name, babe?"

"Elena."

"Elena what?" He asked.

"Elena Henderson." I replied with a smile.

"Well, Elena, thank you. You are literally the only girl today that noticed my fake smile."

"It was not that hard. I just looked past your curls and there it was!" 

"Elliiiiiie, look what I got from Liamm!" Emma suddenly grabed my leg and started jumping up and down. I looked at her and saw a huge teddy bear.

"What the- Liam?!"

"Whaat? She was cute and adorable, just like that teddy. Am I right or am I right?" He smiled. 

"Jesus Christ Emma. I leave you for a split second and you start charming the world around you." I picked her up and started tickling her tummy which in response caused giggles to errupt from her.

Boys started laughing with her and that's when security stepped in. 

"Okay boys. Time to move on. We need to check in hotel. Are you ready?" Paul asked. 

"Yeah, just a second okay?" Harry replied and gave me a peace of paper and a pen. "Would you give me your number? Just so we can get the two of you out on a lunch while we're here."

Well that was unexpected. I quickly wrote my number and gave it to him with a smile.

"Then I guess I'll see you?"

They all hugged me and Emma and that's when we were escorted out. Never in a million years would I ever imagine that signing to go like that. I guess miracles do happen.
