So things are different now since the whole stuff at Christmas with Tony and killian I've took a new light on things something you have to do things you don't wanna do for the greater good take the fact I've decided to work with shield for an instance it happened a few months back after returning from California.

FLASHBACK: a few months ago
"I miss Tony"I say as I put my suitcase on floor in the living room "you literally just got back from spending 4 months with him"Steve laughs "yeah well he's basically my kid I get withdrawals"I whine steve rolls his eyes playfully as I turn into the kitchen fury sits at the counter "nice to have you back"fury says I raise a eyebrow "nice to be back now what do we owe the pleasure of you breaking into out apartment"I ask "by order of the president I've been asked to try assign you to shield again as an agent he said your work with the secret services the past few months training them for situations like the one you faced at Christmas has been helpful and that having you would be an asset of course I said we had offered before and you told us to shove it"fury smiles standing walking closer to me and steve who looks uncomfortable. "So if I can't get you to agree I do need to borrow steve for a few days"he says "and if i agree"I say shocking both Steve and fury "if you agree I have a mission for you both"he says holding up a folder.

PRESENT DAY:
I took the job seeing how Tony changed I decided to do a little self work that and the fact keep your friends close but you enemies closer has been running on my mind for a while not that shield is an enemy just that I don't trust them so what better way to keep a eye on them than joining them and for that reason exactly is why I'm in a car going to pick steve up from his run. I pull up along side steve who is talking to a dark skinned guy I roll the window down "hey fellers can you point me to the Smithsonian I'm here to pick up a fossil" I crack a joke steve rolls his eyes walking to and getting in the car "that's hilarious"he fake laughs I look up at the guy steve was talking to "Gracie hart how you doin"he smirks at me I smile "in good I see you know who I am only fair I get your name" smirk "sam"he replies "well sam we gotta go catch you later"I smile rolling the window up before driving off. "What was that"steve smiles "what was what"I ask acting oblivious "um you flirting"he laughs "hey and old gal can still have game he's cute"I shrug steve laughs "I like this new you your more care free than you were when I first returned"he smiles I smile back "can't live the rest of my life wondering and hoping about the what has and what ifs I gotta look forward to the what I can not the what I can't"I say making steve grin more he's happy I'm happier that's for sure. "We gotta meet Natasha at base"I say he nods as I continue driving.

We are flying over the Indian Ocean out tact team in hand and Natasha "the target is a mobile satellite launch platform they were setting up there last payload when pirates took them 93 minutes ago" brock the strike team leader says "it belongs to shield"he says after steve says something "so it's not off course it's trespassing"Steve says looking at me "I'm tired of being furys janitor"Steve sighs same here pal same here "relax it's not that bad how many pirates"Natasha asks brock explains how many and who there leader is and his past he also shows us the hostages one being important jasper sitwell Steve gives us orders "Gracie you with me"he says I nod. Did I forget to mention I have a suite new suit yeah so it's not as chunky as before but it comes with a pretty suit gun of course I kept my shield. It's very patriotic more or less a girl version to steves old one really fits with the title miss America.

We all gather collecting the stuff we need before we drop me and steve don't worry with a parachute "so did you do anything fun Saturday night"Natasha asks steve "well all the guys from my Barbour shop quartet are dead so no not really"steve joked I smile slightly "and you Gracie"she looks at me "oh the usual sulk a bit of sarcasm then more sulking"I smile Natasha laughs "over drop zone" a voice says as steve pushes button to open doors at back of ship "you know if you asked Kristin out from statistics she would probably say yes"Natasha says "that's why I don't ask"steve says "to shy or to scared"she asks "to busy"steve says as me and him walk out into the bitting wind and throw ourselves off the back soaring through the sky landing in the water by the side of the ship.

We scale the anchor chains before quietly dropping over the side steve takes out one man quietly by strangling him we continue to move forward turning to see two guys steve Throws his shield at one knocking him out while I spin and kick the other one of the edge of the boat. We continue to move forward coming face to face with 2 other men steve takes down one while I snap the neck of the other. We keep moving taking down a few more pirates as we go we reach 2 men steve fighting one with a knife me knocking the other one down as I turn steve throws a knife I duck as it hits the man I had just dropped hand as he reached for the alarm. I shrug we keep moving throwing ourself a down a level where 3 men stand steve takes out two with his shield I head butt the other and hold him in a sleepers hold making him drop 2 more come steve slows one down from running to alert people with his shield while I knock out the other one coming out way flipping him round in the air by his wrist before kicking him to a wall. 2 more come and we take them down easy enough just in time for brock to land with his parachute and Natasha and the others.

"What about the nurse hat lives across the hall from you guys she seems kinda nice also i hear she has hot brothers who joined the army just your type right Gracie"Natasha pesters I roll me eyes "secure the engine room then worry about mine and Gracie's love life's"Steve says to Natasha who replies she's multitasking before jumping down a level. Me and steve continue forward climbing up the sides of the ship using a gadget to shoot a hook at the window of the control room allowing us to be dragged up.

"Engine room secure"Natasha calls over coms we all lay in wait "on my mark"steve says "now" the strike teams shoots down the pirates in the room with hostages. Me and steve split up me covering the area while steve looks around another I come across a few pirates on my way but take them out swiftly I circle back round and up near brock he asks where cap is "around somewhere" I say before lifting my gun and shooting the lay pirate behind brock.

"Gracie meet back at drop point mission done"steve says over coms "got that steve see you soon"I say turning back to brock "coming or"I raise my brows running off.
