Investigator? That sounds like an okay job. But is it really something for me?

"SIENA!!" I gasped when the dark eyed detecive screamed in my ear. My eyes shot open like arrows who targeted ANYTHING that was in the way to protect themselves.

"Jesus, you scared me."

"You're being called." He told me as if nothing happened only that he gave me the shock of my life. Silently I took it and rubbed my eye with a lose fist.

Lloyd I difficultly read of the too-light-for-this-hour screen.

One of Lyon's best friends and his guitarist. I remember him flirting with a pretty red head at a gig around christmas last year. He did that alot. But I remembered that one because it was the first time I saw him getting rejected. Or maybe they hooked up before and got into a fight. She threw her wisky at him and then she casually ran out of the pub. I wasn't surprised. Lloyd was known for looking young, charming and handsome at first but also to say innapropiat things out of the blue. He was always nice to me. I was THE band's girlfriend after all. He paid me my coke when my wallet suddenly mysteriously vanished. He offered me a blanket when Lyon and I were fighting. Why would he be calling me?

"Hello?" I muttered. I heard a vague yell in the background and then he hung up. Not surprised I gave the phone back to L. I rolled onto my back, stretched and sat up.

"Morning." I said.

"It's ten in the evening. You slept eleven hours." He told me.

"I wasn't asleep. Thinking." I moaned. Crawling out of bed.

"Um.. you seem like you could use a nice bed.. Did I keep you awake?" I asked as nice as possible.

"No, you take the bedroom. I'll take the cough." I rubbed my temples. The door to the livingroom was open. There were several plates of pasteries with fruit of the coffee table. My stuff was put back into my jacket.. probably, because it was no where to be found.

"Do you smoke?" L asked. He found between my other personal things a lighter and a pack of sigarettes.

"I... keep it for emergencies. I quit." I told him.

I stood up infront of L. He shakingly stood there. His tired eyes made me feel sorry for the way I treaded him. The closer we were the better I could smell a certain sent. I didn't notice it the first time we met. He seemed over worked. Without knowing I was watching him closely. I rubbed my eyes and walked into the livingroom after the detective. He walked to the window and stayed there.

"Room serves brought you breakfast. It's in the kitchen." L pointed to the door next to the frontdoor. I nodded. The table in the kitchen was covered with foods. Strawberries, apples, oranges and other fruits to the left in a bowl. Next to that, a plate with pancakes, eggs cooked over easy, sausages. Seeing it all made me feel small. I made myself a cup of black coffee and ate the eggs. The rest I put back in the fridge. I took one stawberry and held it losely between two fingers.

"Tell the employees we're out of cake."  L said into the phone he held between two fingers. I turned to the small table next to the front door. There lay a paper with the phone number of the reception and instructions on what to do to keep the hotel room clean.

'Welcome' was writen down in a beautiful hand writing.

The hotel was settling down because of the hour but not in this room. L was speaking with Watari on the phone. He stood there infront of the window and his voice conformed he was lightly irritated. I yawned.

"Yes..Yes I understand." He hung up.

"I see you like sweets." I stated. His expression softened.
