Chapter 2

Sarah and I went into the softball locker rooms to change because they are right next to the football locker rooms and we can't go in those while the guys are changing.

After we got changed into our t shirts and our Nike leggings, we went out to the field where people we starting to gather. Sarah and I put up our hair into ponytails.

After about 2 minutes of waiting, Andy, Ethan, Grayson, Zach, and a few more guys came walking to Sarah and I.

"Hey! Alyx and Sarah, this is Cameron, Jc, and Kian." says Andy.

"Hey, I'm Alyx."

"And I'm Sarah!"

"Damn you two are gorgeous!" Says the guy with the curly hair.

I could see Andy and Ethan clench their fists and their jaws when he said that.

"Thank you, and you are?" I ask.

"Oh, um I'm Jc. Jc Caylen. It's nice to meet you both" the kid with the curly hair says back.

"I'm Kian Lawley." Says the kid standing next to Jc.

"And I'm Cameron Dallas." Says the guy standing next to Zach.

"Well, it's nice to meet you all!" Sarah says.

"All right everybody, gather around. I'm coach Hawker. I'm very excited to see new faces and I know this is going to be a great season. Tryouts are divided into 3 days. The first day is writing. The second day is physical. And the 3rd day is deciding positions. Everybody understand? Ok so we are actually going to go in the locker room and do this written part of the tryouts. It's not that hard, just about 30 questions about football and about yourselves. Let's go do this!" Coach says and we all go into the locker rooms.

"Hey guys, wait up!" Says Andy from behind. I was walking with Cameron, Grayson, and Ethan. I was standing in the middle of them when Andy came running up. Ethan and I were talking about our lives. I learned he moved here when he was 14 (they're 17) and they moved from New Jersey.

We got in the locker room and spread our selves out so we could take the written portion of our tryouts. I sat in between Ethan and Andy and next to Andy was Zach, then Kian, and then Cameron. Then next to Ethan was Grayson, Sarah, then Jc.

Andy sat really close during the "test" but I liked it.

The first question on the "test" was:
What position would you like to play?

Other questions were like:
What is your favorite football team?
Have you ever played on a team before?
How long have you been playing?

And other things like that. It was so easy, but it took like an hour for everyone to finish. When everyone got done, we all wanted to get changed, so Sarah and I went into the softball locker room and the guys changed in their locker room. When we were all done we all met up by Sarah and I's jeep.

"Does everyone want to come to Sarah and i's house? Since its a Friday night I can just call my older sister, have her pick up some alcohol and we could go for a night swim and everyone can just crash at our place. Sound good to everyone?" I say.

"Sounds great. We'll just follow you there." Says Zach. Everyone else agrees with Zach and we all head to our place.

When we get to our place, the only person home was my sister Erica, and she's cool about people coming over. We walk inside and I see Erica sitting at the counter eating Ramen Noodles.

"Hey Erica, is it cool if we have a few people From school over? It's only the 9 of us." Sarah asks.

"Ya that's fine. I don't care. Hey, why don't you call Andres (Andres is pronounced like ON-DREY-AS) and see if he wants to chill too. I already texted Josh and Jake and they are gonna be here too. And I think Josh is bringing his girlfriend too. I've never met her but she seems cool." Says Erica.
